### 5/5 — Splat King!

*2026-07-15*

Great tool for Gaussian splatting. 5 stars.

### 5/5 — My favorite splat app

*2026-06-07*

Haven’t seen any apps like this before letting me record with multiple lenses at once. It’s been great for my workflow!

### 4/5 — Good for capture but could use support

*2026-04-04*

Really amazing capabilities for capture but could really use some support or videos on how to use the many output formats. Totally confused about what to do with so much data you get from the app other than the photos and video.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2026-04-01*

I tried it and I can’t even view anything this is really bad. Do not get if you want to scan stuff.

### 5/5 — Best Capture App for iPhone

*2026-03-31*

I’ve tried a handful of apps for capturing Gaussian spalts, but this one is easily my favorite. The dual lens video mode is really nice, but also really like the lidar+photo auto mode. Really like what you’ve built and look forward to seeing what comes next and maybe some guides for best outputs on Windows.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-06

New in 1.4.1

Reliability
• Fixed a first-run issue where the “Got it” button on the analytics notice could be untappable on Zoomed display settings, which left the app unusable. The notice now scrolls and the button stays reachable.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-08

New in 1.4.0
• Save GPS Location — optionally record where each capture was taken. Off by default; turn it on in Settings.
• Single-lens capture & RAW — choose 1x single-lens capture for Photo and Video, and shoot RAW (DNG) photos in single-lens mode.

Reliability
• Fixed a capture crash affecting single-camera iPhone models.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-06

This update adds optional anonymous analytics to help us improve capture reliability. Events are anonymous and range-bucketed — never your captures, filenames, or location. In the EU/UK and other prior-consent regions, analytics is off unless you turn it on; elsewhere you'll see a one-time notice and can turn it off anytime in Settings.

Also fixed: setting a backup folder from Settings now works reliably, the backup row updates immediately after changes, and removing a backup location makes clear your files are never deleted.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-07-02

iPad support with portrait and landscape layouts; capture on single-rear-camera iPads; preview rotation and stale-frame fixes

### 1.1.1 — 2026-07-01

Fixes an issue where manual camera controls (shutter, ISO, white balance, exposure) could revert during extended or warm captures.
