Gleiche wie bei Romeo, es wird sehr viel Eingeschränkt und man soll dafür zahlen, mittlerweile sogar um den Chatverlauf sehen zu können, find ich arg dreist das ist ja bei Romeo "noch" kostenlos. An der App und Website wurde seit Jahren nichts neues mehr gemacht, selbst Querformat auf dem Ioad wurde nicht hinbekommen. Ich hab damit kein Problem für eine gute seite Geld auszugeben aber dafür Geld auszugeben nö lohnt bei weitem nicht da gibts es mittlerweile bessere Seite. Gayroyal und Romeo sind technisch stehen. Es gibt kaum jüngere Leute die die App nutzen und jetzt meine ich nicht die 18 Jährigen. Inzwischen gestürmt worden von Bi und Heten. Gays muss man suchen. Eine App NUR für Gays wäre sicherlich sinnvoll. Leider gibt es so etwas in Deutschland nicht. ### 1/5 — Unbrauchbar *2024-12-14, version 3.1.3* Funktioniert auf dem iPad nicht. Nach dem Wechsel zum Zweitprofil geht nichts mehr. Komplett unbrauchbar. ### 2/5 — Nur beeinträchtigt nutzbar für Standard Nutzer…. *2024-10-08, version 3.1.3* Um die App optimal nutzen zu können, benötigst du einen XL Premium Account. In der kostenlosen Version, also mit dem Standardprofil, ist kein kostenpflichtiges Abo enthalten. In der App kostet ein Premium-Abo etwa 50 € pro Jahr, während der vollwertige XL Account auf dem Desktop-PC bei knapp 80 € liegt. Vor einiger Zeit betrug der Preis noch 59 €, der Preis ist also deutlich gestiegen. Die App an sich ist eine gute Lösung für Premium-Abonnenten, die die Plattform dauerhaft unterstützen. Als kostenloses Mitglied ist die Nutzung jedoch stark eingeschränkt, da nicht alle Profile angezeigt werden. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist, dass der Standort zwingend erforderlich ist, um die App optimal nutzen zu können. Meiner Meinung nach sollte diese Funktion deaktiviert werden können, wenn ein Benutzer seinen Standort nicht preisgeben möchte. Es kann manchmal unangenehm sein, wenn der Standort angezeigt wird. Der Nutzer sollte die Möglichkeit haben, in den Datenschutzeinstellungen seines iPhones festzulegen: "Nein, ich möchte meinen Standort nicht preisgeben." Wenn man dies jedoch tut, kommt es zu Problemen mit der App. Ansonsten handelt es sich um eine solide Programmierung. Gruß ### 3/5 — nett, aber. *2024-08-07, version 3.1.3* Die App ist konzeptionell in ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Dafür funktioniert sie solide und ist nett übersichtlich. Das Problem sind viele User, die außer Tippen nichts auf die Reihe kriegen. Das Leben findet extern statt, nicht in der App. Das aber kapieren die Meisten nicht - und diese Bequemlichkeit macht die "Bärenszene" eben so extrem langweilig. Oder schnippisch, je nach Gegenüber. Was für Leute sich da trauen, einen anzuschreiben und ungefragt Nudes schicken, igitt. Solche User sollte man sperren, es sind auch immer dieselben. Gegenseitige Diskriminierung ist auf Royal an der Tagesordnung. Das alles bringt mich dazu, diese App zu verlassen.
