## Most critical reviews (8 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Performance is horrible

*2026-10-04*

Very awful performance. I know a iPhone 13 can handle jitless GameCube Emulation. ICube is proof.

### 1/5 — crashes upon booting

*2026-09-29*

Just doesn’t work, Wii and GCN support is lackluster. yet guy promoted it like hell on his X account.

### 1/5 — GBDev Pro Paywall Bug & Other Issues

*2026-09-28*

It was successful in loading games, but immediately after running them the app repeatedly keeps blocking you with its Pro paywall, which might I add doesn’t mention full gameplay as a guaranteed feature. The paywall can be closed, but it’ll keep cycling through pulling up the system’s menu for importing/loading games and then back to the paywall. Did experience no audio during initial runs, but might be related to certain games. App might still be in beta but even if I cared less about the audio, going to assume this app won’t be free for long.

### 1/5 — The emulator isn’t working. Help. I want to play Star Fox 64 3D

*2026-09-25*

I’m trying to be patient but I guess the code isn’t complete or something. I’ve been trying to get a 3Ds game running (Star Fox 64 3D) but it’s not going thru.

### 2/5 — Skip this Emulator

*2026-09-25*

I have a ton of issues with this emulator. None of my NES games loaded despite them working just fine on other emulators (including ones on phones), audio emulation is inaccurate (heck, systems other than the Game Boys straight up don’t have any audio emulated), landscape requires tapping a button in the menu instead of just rotating your device for some reason, the menu button and FPS always show up on top (even when they shouldn’t), the touch screens for the DS were offset from where they were during setup, and worst of all, save states are locked behind a paywall (even tho there are other emulators on the App Store that provide them FOR FREE). I haven’t actually touched the 3DS stuff, but I’d imagine they, along with the upcoming GameCube and Wii, would run horribly without some form of JiT. If you want an emulator for your phone, you best look elsewhere.

### 3/5 — Nothing but crashing

*2026-09-29*

Haven’t even had a chance to use the emulator because every time I try to boot a game it crashes

### 3/5 — About the emulator itself.

*2026-09-26*

I know that it is still in early beta for what it appears to be from its design. There are some things that I need to take note of. First, most importantly, the layout buttons feel small that you can’t even adjust them even if you try (besides the screens), it would be cool to adjust the control sizes. Second, there seems to be a bit of some pauses when playing 3DS games on the emulator, presumably the loading screens. Not sure if this is an early feature or anything. I had heard some user talked about how some 3DS games wouldn’t work, maybe you can look into that perhaps? Finally, some features feel a bit unfinished, maybe still in beta? Overall, it’s a pretty decent emulator, just needed some bug fixes and some adjustments for the near future. Hope this message fits you well.

### 5/5 — I love this!

*2026-08-12*

I love that I can play my favorite old games from when I was little!
