Not quite sure why I need to receive a code to my email every time I log in; and no way to store password in keychain or use a stored password. Plus I get prompted to select a store before I’ve even logged in. However, at least now I’m in and can try and work out where my nearest GBK is… 🍔😋 ### 2/5 — I MISS HUMANS *2023-12-03, version 5.3.3* It took so long to give you all my information to connect to the wifi, give you all my information again to sign up, agree for you to use my information however you want, share location, agree to have notifications, and then use the awful wifi to order. I MISS HUMANS. The prices would be fine if it were a restaurant where people take your order, but instead we’re paying expensive prices to be ignored and forced to use slow wifi to sit for 20 minutes giving you endless permissions to advertise. This is not an okay way for a restaurant where you spend £25 for your meal to work. So I didn’t tip because we aren’t getting service, so why would I? But there are people bringing the food and that’s unfair to them. I’ve had an awful time sitting here getting more and more annoyed by how awful the online ordering system is. Nice enough app for ordering but not terribly impressed that there's a service charge added which says it's optional and yet there's no option to remove it! It feels a little bit annoying when you are placing ? your own order to then not have a choice about whether you leave a tip or not, interestingly there is an optional 10% service charge which you can't remove and then the option to add an additional tip!!!! As far as I'm concerned the tip is the service charge. Perhaps GBK need to pay their staff more?! I wonder if they see any of that "optional" (and yet not) 10% service charge!! ### 2/5 — Not great *2023-08-16, version 5.0.9* Very disappointed with this app. I had a free milkshake for my birthday. Bought burger and chips and didn’t get the milkshake as the code said it was not recognised by the app, even though I had not used it! What a rubbish way to show you care for your customers birthdays! ### 2/5 — Worst App *2023-08-03, version 5.0.9* The app for ordering is the worst experience I’ve had for using this form of method. It’s hard to navigate and find things. This is not service in any form. Going out for dinner should be a pleasant experience, this app does not make for enjoyable dining. It takes about 10 minutes to actually get onto the app another 10 minutes scrolling through what everyone wants and then an error message on payment saying there is an internal error! Just makes the experience so stressful. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Ordering for pickup doesn’t work *2025-01-03, version 5.4.8* This app has repeatedly not worked when ordering online - it takes payment and confirms but sends no email and the restaurant doesn’t get it through. I’ve emailed GBK directly and had no reply and it’s such a shame that such a nice restaurant with such nice food has ruined their once really good app. I also don’t like the rewards system now as it’s made it more difficult to get a free burger but that’s not the main issue here. All we want is a working app ### 1/5 — Terrible Christmas spin *2024-12-10, version 5.4.7* Span every day and got nothing! My kids wouldn’t shut up so I paid £1.99 for them to play the game on the iPad on the table provided and they raged at it and got louder ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2024-07-01, version 5.4.0* This app is appalling. The staff in the restaurant said that lots of customers complain about it, why is it not better? ### 1/5 — Ruined my birthday/relationship with family and girlfriend *2024-06-25, version 5.4.0* I threw my phone out of the window so angry at the app and it hit a passing blind man who fell over. His wife then came over and gave me a real telling off but due to my short fuse from the app I called her a “dorky loud mouthed loser” and my family and girlfriend (of 6 years) saw and left me at the restraunt. Since then my girlfriend has taken our child aged 1 and moved to lancing while my family see me on Christmas but refuse to serve me any food or drinks. I once asked for Pringles and my nan spat in them. ### 1/5 — app doesn’t work *2024-05-25, version 5.4.0* says click and collect is available but when i try to order from it it doesn’t work. fix up your app. ### 1/5 — Student discount is a lie *2024-04-09, version 5.3.9* Student discount isn’t available with this app, you have to apply for it and wait 48 hours to use student discount.
