## What is GBL Box?

GBLBOX is an unofficial companion tool for Pokémon GO Battle League players who want to manage IVs, check PvP ranks, and organize battle-ready candidates.

Use screenshot analysis, Share import, or Live Scan to help read CP, HP, and IV information, then check PvP rank, target CP, level, and battle stats for Great League, Ultra League, and Master League. Saved entries can be organized in your Box with planned evolutions, evolution candidates, Shadow, Purified, Lucky status, registration dates, search, and sorting.

Main features:
- Screenshot-assisted IV review for Pokémon GO
- Import screenshots via Share for quick IV checks
- Shortcut to scan your latest screenshot automatically
- Live Scan support for faster Box registration
- PvP IV rank checks from IV, CP, and HP
- Great / Ultra / Master League rank, percent, and stat views
- Evolution candidate evaluation
- Saved Box with search and sorting
- GBL records and battle history review
- Customizable name-copy rules
- GBL schedule and special cup information (Home Screen widget)
- Battle simulator and breakpoint research tools
- Contact flow for reporting detection issues

Screenshot analysis is processed on device, and saved Box data is stored locally on your device.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.6.2 — 2026-08-15

[Box]
- Faster Box and detail screen loading
- Improved Pokémon selection and CSV export
- The Pokebox 50-Pokémon limit can now be enabled or disabled

[Screenshot Analysis]
- Improved recommended power-up targets and IV candidate display
- Improved full-screen screenshot controls

[Simulator]
- Added Best Buddy +1 support

[Other Improvements]
- Improved guides and English localization
- Added easier keyboard dismissal

### 2.6.1 — 2026-08-12

GBL auto-recording now keeps consecutive battles separate more reliably, even when the VS or result screen is missed.

• Apply league, cup, and rank choices to all matches in the review screen
• Identify same-name forms such as Kyurem using league ranking data
• Show search results directly below the search field and correct encounter-rate analytics
• Save Move Count and Breakpoint Explorer samples by league, ranked by usage
• Reach screenshot analysis results faster and review training candidates and current level more easily

### 2.6.0 — 2026-08-12

Added Trade Check to estimate the chance of staying within a league CP limit and meeting a target rank after a trade.

You can now compare registered Box entries in bulk, enter data from screenshots or manually, and review saved scan data before saving. League colors and evolution-target selection are also more consistent.

### 2.5.5 — 2026-08-09

Fixed a screenshot scanning issue introduced in version 2.5.4 that could replace a correctly recognized Pokémon name with an unrelated candidate. Candidate display and consistency checks for corrected appraisal values have also been improved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

### 2.5.4 — 2026-08-08

[Movesets]
- You can now set each Pokemon's moves. Anything you leave alone uses the recommended set for the league.
- Moves can also be chosen on the scan review screen, before saving.
- Set them straight from the move list while comparing power and DPT.
- Pokemon without a second charged move unlocked can be marked as having none.
- CSV export now includes move columns.

[Tags in your Box]
- Tags you have used are offered as chips, so you can add one with a tap. The ones you use most come first.
- You can pick tags in the filter. With more than one selected, switch between Any and All.
- Manage tags lets you rename a tag everywhere at once, or remove it.

[Nicknames]
- Move types and move names can now be part of a generated nickname.
- IVs can be written as a single digit each, 0 through F (FFF = 15/15/15).
- Reworded the name-rule categories so you can tell what is inside before opening them.

[Scan fixes]
- Fixed CP and IVs changing away from the scanned values after you corrected the form.
- Forms such as Hisuian are now identified from how CP, HP and the appraisal bars fit together.
- When the numbers cannot narrow it to one form, you are asked to pick from the matching forms.
- Fixed normal Pokemon being marked as Shadow.
- Fixed the first scan after launching the app sometimes reading nothing.

[Other]
- Improved record keeping and evidence images for back-to-back GBL battles.
- Fixed places that stayed in Japanese on non-Japanese devices: the photo access prompt, the share menu entry, and live scan notifications.
