## What is GC Wallet?

GC (Government of Canada) Wallet is a privacy respecting mobile application designed to help you securely store, manage, and present your digital credentials.
Digital credentials are electronic equivalents of traditional physical credentials and enable the secure digital verification of information online or in person via a digital wallet.
While GC Wallet is available in this app store, it currently supports only a limited set of digital credentials as part of a Government of Canada approved pilot tests
GC Wallet is intended strictly for use by authorized pilot participants. It should not be used beyond the scope of the approved pilot tests.

Important notes

The GC Wallet App is currently under active development and subject to change as we test features, improve functionality, and gather feedback. It is being tested as part of GC Issue and Verify, a Government of Canada initiative to make it easier to issue, store, present and verify digital versions of existing physical credentials (such as licenses or certificates).

GC Wallet is not part of a national digital identity initiative. There is no work underway by the Government of Canada to create a national digital identity.  Instead, the GC Wallet app provides a secure, voluntary way to store, manage and present digital credentials when accessing services. Use of digital credentials remains completely voluntary.

### 1/5 — Update deleted my permits, now ROC-A not downloading properly

Prior to the most recent update, I had my ATPL & ROC-A permits added in the app. The update deleted both credentials. Following the update, my ROC-A will not upload properly from the DADDS website. I have tried both uploading directly, and by scanning the QR code. Neither method is working.
