## What is gcffm Eventapp?

Don't miss a geocaching event!

With this app you will get a list overview of geocaching events around Frankfurt am Main and throughout Germany (as well as bigger events all over the world)

Starting with version 2.0 you can also add your own events to the list with .gpx files or via the event website in your browser.

Starting with version 3.0 there are three area categories. Home, Map and Global. These help filtering the events you actually want to see.

Add the geocaching events easily to your system calendar, copy and share easily important informations of an event, open events in your favourite geocaching or navigation app.
Simply long click any event in list view or use the info icon after clicking an event on the map

- Added setting which allows to select an own default calendar within this app for new calendar entries
- Added setting to automatically download all events when the last full download was more than 24h ago
- Added filter option for event date until. If activated, only events up to this date will be shown
- Fixed selecting a marker color via slider
- Added setting which allows to define actions which will be performed on new imported events. You can automatically mark or ignore a new imported event, if a defined contidion is met. (Example: event title includes "Meet in" or owner is "Signal") This is supposed to help you spot the events that are relevant for you.

- Fixed a problem related to adding events to the calendar
- Added filter option for event date. If activated, only events on the selected date will be shown

- Added option to open events in the default browser, isntead of in app browser
- Clicking cluster marker on the map will remove the clusering for events which are very close to eachother
- Fixed a display issue of the current selected category on iPad version

This update add the option to show the distance of an event to the home pin. (Thanks to Mark for the request). This means in detail:
- Context menu in list view (click and hold an list entry) shows now the distance of the event to the home pin
- When clicking the coordinates label in list view, the address is looked up and displayed instead (already existing feature). Clicking again will now show the distance to the home pin. (Another click changes back to coordinates)
- New setting to define a default display mode (coordinates or distance to map pin.
(If you change the display mode manually by clicking in the list view, the default value form the settings is no longer evaluated for this event)
- Added dark app icon (for iOS 18)
