## What is GCLdistribution?

GCLdistribution is an internal distribution system for companies that supply their own stores from their own warehouse.

NOTE: the app's interface is in Georgian. It is built for one market and is not localised into other languages.

FOR THE DRIVER
- Today's run: which store, what cargo, in what order
- Cargo pick-up and arrival recorded with one tap
- A handover photo taken at the door
- Works without a connection: actions queue and are sent the moment the signal returns

FOR THE OFFICE
- A live operations board: where every van is right now
- Create and manage deliveries, including mixed loads
- A registry of stores, warehouses, vehicles and drivers
- Handover control with photo evidence and a rating
- Analytics by store and by driver

LOCATION
Location is used only while a delivery is in progress, to show the cargo moving. Recording starts when the driver picks up cargo and stops automatically after the last stop or on sign-out. The data goes only to your own company's server, nowhere else.

ACCESS
The app works only with an account issued by the client company. There is no public sign-up: every account belongs to one company and its stores. If your company does not use GCLdistribution yet, get in touch.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.2.17 — 2026-09-29

Loading and leaving are now two steps. The warehouse or the driver marks a run as loaded; the driver taps "On the way" when the van actually leaves. The office finally sees which vans are still in the yard.
Location is recorded from "On the way", not from loading, so a van loaded in the evening does not record the driver's evening.
Office: the day of each stop, and of the pickup, is picked from a list, as on the web.

### 0.2.16 — 2026-09-24

Fixed: a run created in the evening no longer promises its stops for that same morning. A stop now falls on the next time its hour comes round, so deliveries are no longer recorded as late before the van even leaves.
A day you pick for a run stays the day you picked, and a screen left open overnight no longer sends yesterday's date.
Dates always read day first — 05.09 is 5 September — everywhere in the app.
Analytics: the figure for handovers signed with a problem is now called an issue, since it counts damaged, incomplete and other problems alike.

### 0.2.15 — 2026-09-10

A run with several objects now shows how much goes to each one. The board printed the whole load once, at the top, and every stop below it was a name and a time — so on a multi-drop run the one question a dispatcher asks had no answer on the screen.
Mixed loads are spelled out per object, not summarised in the delivery’s own unit: an object receiving crates and pallets now says both, where before it would have stated the crates and stayed silent about the pallets.

### 0.2.14 — 2026-09-07

Deliveries can now be sorted by clicking a column header — waybill number, creation date, type or status. Click again to reverse it. The order stays in the address, so a bookmark and the back arrow both keep it.
Deliveries now show the date they were entered, and can be filtered to a range of those dates.
Fixed: the date on a delivery row was drawn using the phone’s own clock. On a handset set to another time zone it could name a different day than the filter that had just selected it.
Fixed: choosing a sort order made the board report itself as filtered — and an empty list then said "nothing matched" to a company that simply had no deliveries yet.
Fixed: a signed-in session could be ended by a busy moment on the server rather than by anything wrong with the credential.

### 0.2.12 — 2026-09-03

Fixed: an object manager could not create a return at all. The form refused to open with a permissions error, which made the feature unusable for exactly the people it was built for.
Creating a return now starts with the object the goods are coming back from, and says so. It used to open on a warehouse labelled „from", which stated the direction backwards.
A driver and a van can now be assigned to more than one run in a day — the morning route and the afternoon one. Two loads still cannot ride at once: that is checked when the load is picked up.
Fixed: a return template you saved could never be renamed or deleted afterwards, and the buttons appeared on routes you were not allowed to touch.
The live map now shows runs whose deadline is close and runs delivered damaged — both were counted above the map but had no colour on it. The key lists every colour the map draws.
Fixed: postponing a run in the browser left its stops on the old day, so the van went out a day late and every handover was recorded as late.
Contact details for drivers now reach only the screen that edits them.
