## What is GearPost?

GearPost is the dead-simple rental management app for the independent operator—the single-location rental store, the farm and ag equipment renter, the hardware store with a rental counter. It replaces the paper logbook, the whiteboard calendar, and the shoebox of rental tickets with one app that keeps working even when the internet doesn't.

Two things a shop owner asked for, plus a much better fit on iPad.

• Cancel a rental. When a customer backs out, open the rental and use the menu in the top right. The gear frees up right away, the record stays in your history, and if you were holding a deposit, GearPost asks whether you refunded it or kept it.

• Delete a rental. Entered a practice booking while learning the app, or added the same rental twice? Delete it from the same menu and it comes off your list and out of your revenue and reports completely.

• Find out why your storefront looks empty. Switching your storefront on is only half the job — every item has its own "Show on storefront" setting, and it starts off. The Storefront screen now tells you how many of your items customers can actually see, with one tap to show them all. (Shop and Multi-location plans.)

• Made for the iPad screen. Your list and the details now sit side by side instead of a phone layout stretched across the whole screen. Tap a rental, customer or item on the left and it opens on the right.

Also fixed: a rental rescheduled to a new day could land one day off depending on your device's time zone.
