Would really like to see a User Comment Box for each election item in My Sample Ballot. I’d have given this 4 or 5 stars before I went to vote today. I’d entered my choices and the app showed them when I left my house. When I arrived at the poll, the app was not functioning (I forget the error message). I tried repeatedly, restarted my phone, finally deleted the app and reinstalled it, but the same error message appeared. A sympathetic poll worker could access the app on her phone, but (security feature) my votes were not marked. Now, three hours later, it’s working again but my choices were not saved. ### 1/5 — Voice over (Speech program) *2020-10-09, version 3.2.1* The current version does not allow the program to work with voiceover, which is a speech program for the blind. ### 1/5 — Voter Registration was rigged. *2020-07-12, version 3.2.1* Went to vote in Lafayette , LA. at the Public Library on Johnston Street. It wouldn’t let me cast my vote. Was informed as well as other voter’s that we were registered Democratic. They told me and other ladies the same thing. I went around 7:20 P.M. The lady that signed me in said, you have to go and change it at geauxvote.com. Been trying and it doesn’t work. I will go to the Tax Assessor Office tomorrow and change it and get a receipt. Not seeing Republican candidates until I get to the ballot box. Also difficult to navigate. This use to be a good app. ### 1/5 — Linked to Voter Records *2020-07-03* While using this app I accidentally entered in the wrong address and noticed that the sample ballot provided only listed the nominees of a certain party and did not provide any information of the other nominees. Once I entered my correct address the application listed only the nominees for the party I registered to back when I turned 18. It worked then but now it does not. We have voted in every election in our parish since we have lived here and have been registered voters since the age of 18. Now it tells us “No voter found”. It’s truly ashame that taxpayer dollars were used to create this app and it doesn’t work. Wish the news media in Louisiana would quit directing voters to this app. IT DOESN’T WORK!!!! ### 1/5 — Beware- Personal Identity Information is Exposed *2023-11-14, version 4.1.5* 11/10/23- I checked the status of an absentee ballot sent and was shocked. Upon entering the required sign on information required by the State another person’s name was on MY ballot with all personal voter registration information visible. I do not think there is an active attempt to defraud anyone by the State. This is another example of poor training or incompetency which has grave consequences for the individual. No wonder identity theft is rampart . ### 1/5 — Lost my info *2023-09-25* Have to vote October 13. Went looked up all the details and info on who all I wanted to vote for. Logged back in and everything I had saved and looked up was gone. Tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works great *2023-10-16* App does what I need from an app. It gives me a listing of candidates and things we will be voting on such as proposed taxes, constitutional amendments, etc. when the final ballot has been determined. I can do a sample ballot on my phone which stays on my phone, not shared with anyone and use when casting my vote. Then as election results are reported to the state and tabulated I have automatic updates within the app. There is a very short learning curve to be able enjoy all the benefits of the app. But even with a deficit in my vision, I easily get the info I need MUCH faster than from the news media. And targeted to my precinct, parish or statewide. That way I do not have to listen to essentially irrelevant election results repeatedly to hear what I need to know. ### 5/5 — Nice app, a lot on the ballot this November *2020-10-18* This app pulls everything together for the ballot in your location ### 5/5 — Excellent *2020-10-15* This app allows users to generate their ballot, lists representatives of districts, follows election results for any Parish and lists contact info for all elected officials in your specific area.
