Avoid! I love the fact I can let my child message family and friends. The BIG draw back is that everybody I know has tried to get the notifications to pop up saying there is a new message in the canvas, but it never alerts them. No notifications or sounds for a new message means you don’t know a message is there unless you open the app to check. Sure there is a notifications section there that tells you which canvases have new messages, but you have to open the app to see it. The app ask to allow push notifications to the device. They are turned on. We want these to work. We want alerts that a new message is there as soon as it is posted. Allowing you to choose push notifications from specific canvases would be nice, but right now I’d just be happy if I could get push notifications to work at all. I’ll keep using this app while I search for something else because it allows security for my child to safely message family and friends. If I find something better, I’ll switch if this doesn’t get better though.
