It does nothing more than that. In fact, it does less: since Apple restricts watch faces, it can't even tell the time. It has a calculator mode, and a 'stopwatch' mode. Using WatchOS3 on my Series 2, I found it responsive enough - no lag I could see in hitting the buttons - but those buttons are still very tiny, even on the 42 mm model. They're too small for this to be an effective calculator.
