Unfortunately it seems like the dev has abandoned all efforts, which is a shame because I REALLY liked the style. ### 3/5 — Outdated *2024-08-16* The requests are still sent to gpt 3.5 turbo even though 4o-mini is out. Hope the developer keeps with it. ### 4/5 — Like this app with only two issues so far *2023-11-14* Liking this app, even more than the official one from OpenAI *because* I can control it with my own API key. The only real issues that I've run into are: - the keyboard doesn't have a way to fully dismiss in chat mode and because it covers the tab bar, you can't change modes without doing a force quit. Just add the keyboard dismiss button or make it work by touching outside the editor and you'll be good to go. - after discovering the above issue, I also found that there was no way to contact the developer from inside the app! Having to write a review to file a bug report seems unnecessarily heavy handed. Update: you can get support... if you're willing to pay Elon for access to X. Could you guys at least make a larger version that works on an iPad? ### 3/5 — Great app would love to choose my GPT version *2023-08-02* I have started using the GOT 4 api on my mac but somehow on this app it hasn’t been updated to show a dropdown to select my GPT version. As requested here several times: German (or any language supported by iOS) would be great! I submitted my key which was accepted. The chat session then said I had not submitted a key. The only way to get back to the menu bar is to kill the app. I resubmitted my key (still from clipboard) and this time it worked. I got a chat response but quality was so-so. I wanted to check I was using gpt4, but again, no access to the menu so I had to kill the app. I then realised this brings nothing to the party, I may as well use safari. ### 4/5 — Great *2023-05-01* The app is great, I would like to know which model is being used (is it the GPT-4?). It would be nice to have an option for selection below where we enter the API Key. Déjà, ça a été très difficile de rentrer une clef API car la fenêtre est plus petite que celle de l’iPhone (!) Ensuite m, contrairement au site OpenAI où à la très bonne application pour Mac de ce développeur MacGPT, GeePeeTee ne sais même pas quelle version de ChatGPT il utilise, un jour il le dit la version 2 (super vieille), aujourd’hui il m’annonce avec fierté la version 3, la dernière ! (On en est à la 3.5) ou la 4 en payant 20€ par mois. Ses réponses sont toujours évasives, jamais concrètes, il dit être à jour mais en fait pas du tout et on ne sait pas quelle année. Et il répond sous forme de nouvelles questions !! Énervant et pas du tout utilisable, je vais donc me faire un raccourci sur mon écran d’iPhone du lien du site officiel et on va arrêter de perdre du temps ;-) ### 1/5 — Not working *2023-05-10* I put the api key in and there was an issue making it impossible to use. Something about me reaching my limit and I should consider upgrading my plan, even though Im on the paid subscription. I checked my account with openai and it said I never subscribed, but when I check my chatgpt+ account, everything is fine. Allows to directly use your OpenAI key - the cheapest and most preferable way. Please don’t ever change that. :) Lovely design, no ads. The only thing I'm missing is a model selection like in your macOS app. I'd pretty much prefer to use GPT 4 Turbo. Any plans for that?
