I really liked the experience but the whole game took me barely 20 minutes. That in my opinion is a bit too short for a paid game.

It’s very nice, relaxing, pleasant to watch and listen to, but you certainly can’t interact with it other than go in one direction or another. I want my two bucks back because I feel like the developers didn’t describe that what you see in the sample is all you’re going to get. As others have pointed out, there are no instructions, no strategy, no point and you simply cannot interact with the game. There should be no charge at all for this, because it’s clearly in the development stage and needs work to be an actual game.

On the plus side, this is a truly beautifully designed game with a heartfelt story. On the downside, the entire game will take you about 30 to 40 minutes to complete and it will leave you thinking, “why did I pay 1.99 for this?“ it’s too short for the price, that’s all.

This game brought me to literal tears... The true meaning of this passionate journey is far beyond that of a mere "game". this work of art is one of very few epitomes of the sanctity of loves sacrifice, wether it be for mother, father, brother, sister, companion, friend, or even stranger.  Though sacrifice contains a deep air of sadness "Gemini" still maintains a bright beam of happiness, while at the same time representing a symbolic meaning that is unique to each individual who takes the journey. To me, it symbolizes us... The everyday workers, the parents who give up they're lives to provide for they're families, the victims of depression and sickness who have to wage a war daily just to keep they're heads above the waters, the children who were robbed of parental love. To me, we are the stars, we're the glints of light that sink into the voids of darkness without the love and understanding of a fellow “star”... But with the love and understanding from another we so desperately need, we can rise... We can spread our wings and fight through the shadows. All we need is love. And though death comes for us all, it seems to me that to die in the place of Someone you love, or anyone really, is the best way to out-shine the shadows, and in the process have the comfort of knowing that the one/ones your gave yourself up for —>Will<— go on.

The game is undeniably beautiful, but way too short (maybe 2 hours of playtime, if not less). The lack of any tutorial is frustrating at first,  it once you understand the control scheme and the overall philosophy of the game, it’s a joy to play.

I really wanted to like this, but after fooling with it for the most part of a half hour, I didn’t see the point of it at all! First, there’s no tutorial at all, so you don’t know what to do! Tried this, tried that, and all I could deduce from it is that the music is relaxing and nice, but as far as game play is concerned, it seems you dance/merge with the other star, rising up, up, but then what?? What’s the reward for that? Pop some bubbles, wow... Nothing happens, and it just becomes boring. What’s there to do? Is that it? That’s not fun! It IS relaxing, but when nothing happens, it becomes frustrating! I’m done with it and am deleting it. There’s nothing to keep my interest here! 👎🏻

I loved playing this, the graphics and music are mesmerising and it’s a wonderful experience and a joy to play. Unfortunately it’s also an incredibly short game. I would love there to have been more to it with more challenges to play!

It’s been so long since I purchased a game and when I finally do - this one - I have been completely swindled. Conned. Frankly robbed. All these reviews about crying and emotions and even gameplay are 100% bs. This game is nothing.

The pictures and video in the App Store look crystal clear.

I spent over 15 minutes trying to figure out how to leave the "starting" area (I think that's what the greenish area is?), but it was incredibly frustrating because the smaller star moves independently from you and inhibits your movements so you can't go too far. The closest I came to "solving" this level (?) was when a sentence appeared on the top left of the screen: "When we come together we can fly". But I was only able to fly when I was practically on top of the small star, which kept moving away from me and drifting downwards, forcing me to speed up and keep hitting the left and right controls to stay on top of it to keep it afloat. I'm not going to complain about the price, since $3.00 is a relatively low cost compared to the hundreds of dollars people normally shed on in-app purchases for free games, but I disagree with 99% of the reviews on here. The controls are not "intuitive". There are no instructions on what to do, or what the main goal is. You're literally thrown into a space/time vortex and that's it. You're left to your own devices. I need structure in my games, or at least a bare minimum of information so I can pick up on what I need to do rather quickly. This is not the case with Gemini. I'm very disappointed overall. I thought this would be a relaxing game where I could explore various environments and enjoy the graphics/music, but sadly, this is little more than a screensaver with random buttons. Games should be fun, not exasperating.

This game is either constantly crashing or lagging. Your only objective is to stay close to another circle and repeat the same thing over and over again. And if that wasn't bad enough it lasts less than 20 minutes. Cannot find one good thing to say about this game.

I first played this interactive work of art almost nine years ago, but it has been unavailable to me since then. It’s now available once again!!!
Part game, part interactive storytelling. An emotional experience. Gorgeous visuals with an inspiring, thought provoking storyline. 
I don’t think I’ve ever played another game that had me contemplating profound subjects like selflessness and sacrifice.
Rare, gorgeous and inspiring. A unique, moving experience that was worth far more than the small price.
Play this again. You’ll be swept away.

操作は非常に簡単で、「右に進む」か「左に進む」しかありません。

基本的には光をともしながら上に進んでいきましょう。条件が揃うとルーン文字を貰えるのでそれでチャプターが開いていきます。

1人モードをクリアすると2人モードが解放されます。
親子や恋人の想定かなと思いました。

期間限定50％オフとのことなので購入してみました。

正直言って、どういうことをするのが目的なのか、いまいちわからないです。
木に光が灯ったりするから、そうやって遊ぶのかな？と思うのですが、思うように動いてくれないので、途中で操作放棄…(ｰ ｰ;)
セーブもどうなってるのかわからなくて、途中でやめて起動し直すとニューゲームになるので、最初のステージから進んでいません。

本来の遊び方とは違うと思うのですが、BGMも映像も綺麗なので、何も操作せずに光たちが勝手に漂ってるのを眺めるだけで癒されます😊
私は勝手に安眠誘導アプリだと思って満足しています(笑)

Just wow. I can’t really put into words the message this game imparted on me. The interaction between the two “beings” says it all without a word being said. One cannot fly without the other, if one falls the other comes back, the interaction between the two was brilliant. Just absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. I cried. That’s all that really needs to be said.

I love the music, graphics, and story of this, but it’s too short for 2 bucks. Would love to see a new update to this such as an alternative ending, online multiplayer, new levels, etc. The final level is pretty challenging which I find it fun to play. I like to replay this entire game multiple times even though I could finish it in 1 hour or so. Customising the color of the 2 stars would also be a nice addition to the game

I bought this game because of Tate 66 Whoop’s review. And wow, I am glad I did. That review basically says it all. Each of us will have a different view on the journey this gem of an app brings us. Leading and being led, to closeness and synchronization. Relaxing and slow to frustrating to powerful and strength and determination. This was my journey. I hope I can take another journey with these wonderful developers.

This game is art. All around, it's a work of art. 

The music, the visual aspects, the ability to tell a story without words. 

The amount of deep stuff it made me feel and think about... I don't know if half the messages were meant to be in the game or if I just came up with them because of it, and that just makes the game even better. 

And two player is incredible. Playing this with someone you care about (for me, my girlfriend), makes you feel really really close to them on a very deep level. It's a great way to relate to someone. 

I rarely come across a game I can call art. This definitely counts and I'm telling everyone I know about it.
