It loads about 200 items then stops. I have to go to live auctions then back to my collection then it loads another 209. This goes on an in over half an hour to get my collection loaded. Then you have to do it every time you use the app which it never did before. I have uninstalled then installed again and it’s still doing it Please go back as the last update is rubbish ### 3/5 — Can’t open the app now *2024-12-27, version 7.42* The app used to be fine and worked well, but I can’t open it any more. I’ve tried uninstalling and installing it again, but it makes no difference. Still have to close the app constantly and restart to get current prices, and now I’m continually logged out and have to keep logging back in. Please fix these issues Could be good but there really are lots of issues that seem to get worse with each update! The app never updates with the current prices am always having to come out of the app and restart it to get an up to date view of prices and what’s sold. When you switch between channels it doesn’t update with the correct products but rather stays on the main gems page. The last update now has the app crashing every time I try to open it so it’s basically useless now. Now the app starts to open - and immediately shuts down without ever fully opening. Totally useless. To make it worse they won’t let you use the app without “upgrading” it to non-functional. Great way to lose customers as there isn’t any other easy access outside UK (no working smart phone/tablet ap, no tv channel anymore - only option is via internet which is sporadic in terms of access compared to the other methods). I must say very unusual for Gemporia ### 1/5 — New upgrade more like downgrade *2020-11-22* The previous version where the screen was stationary was fine. I now have to move an even smaller screen around multiple times to see merchandise specifics. If you know anything about Gemporia you know that it is an auction site, and auctions move fast. Therefore, it delays my ability to bid on an item causing me to miss out. Other bugs included in the “new upgrade” are when you are watching the gems channel and purchase something it defaults back to the main channel. I’ll stop there because I don’t even know how to explain the numerous bugs I’ve encountered just today. I am a huge Gemporia fan. So my negative review is strictly directed at the mobile app. I give the actual company 5+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. ### 3/5 — Very Temperamental App *2020-07-24* While I like the premise of this app, it comes with too many problems, especially when it has too be updated. Every time they try to update and improve this app it takes weeks sometimes to work out the bugs. While that is fine for the IT team, when you’re looking to see what items you have bought, in your “my jewelry” section and it has trouble downloading your items, this is very frustrating. Too many times I’ve had to delete the app and then reinstall it. Why is this necessary? Very frustrating ### 3/5 — Good, but still needs improvement *2020-05-23, version 6.04* The latest update says the screen automatically rotates, when turning your phone. It doesn’t, which is odd as it always used to. It buffers a lot, which is very annoying. When I minimise it, to use another app, and then return, it freezes. Now l have to wait until an auction begins and lots of times l miss out. The offers come through BUT when you click on to one of the subjects does it go back to the item? NO way, it usually goes back to the beginning ,which is very frustrating when you might be over half way down the list. You must be losing quite a lot of sales through this. As for the personal collection list, so very disappointing this so called new way of displaying the items. When I delete it and download it again it works for the first time only again. I have bought from all the others, but nothing compares to Gemporia! I don’t want simulated gemstones and Gemporia offers the real deal at prices the others offer the fake stuff. Yes the app has issues. I wanted the US price, however it would always revert back to UK.
