## What is GEMSEED?

Dig, appraise, display.
GEMSEED is a first-person mining game about finding gems among about 4.3 billion possibilities.

■ Dig a mine and find gems
Choose a mine and dig the wall. When you strike a vein, part of the face glows in the color of the mineral. Chisel the ore out, bring it back, and appraise it on the appraisal table: one certificate shows its name, rarity and market value.
The deeper you dig, the better the stones — but the mine collapses more easily, and a collapse costs you all the ore from that trip (the gems you already own are safe). Turn back, or dig a little more. It is your call.

■ The same GEMSEED, the same gem
Every gem has an 8-digit hexadecimal code, its GEMSEED. The same GEMSEED always makes exactly the same gem — its shape, color, inner clouds and traits. Gems you appraise and keep are recorded, so on the detail screen you can see how many players found each gem and who found it first (when you are online).

■ Features
・A change in feel can be a sign of ore. Before a collapse you get warnings such as dust, falling rock and rumbles — though a warning does not always mean a collapse
・Lantern fuel: it runs down as you dig and recovers over time while you are outside the mine. If you do not want to wait, you can optionally watch a rewarded ad
・Five mines, each favoring different families of minerals
・Hold your gems: pinch to zoom and drag to turn them, with refraction and dispersion rendered. You can name your gems
・Collection: sort and filter to find the gems you own
・Display scenes: choose Float, Specimen or Theme, and set your stones. You can save and share images

■ Plays without a connection
Digging, appraising and the collection all run on your device. A connection is only used for discovery records and ads.

■ Good to know
・Free to play, with optional rewarded ads. There are no in-app purchases
・No account is needed. To keep the records, the app sends a random identifier created on your device, an optional display name, and the GEMSEED of gems you appraise and keep
・iPhone and iPad (iOS 18.0 or later), in Japanese and English
・Gems are fictional, generated automatically from a SEED. Names, rarities and market values have nothing to do with real gemstones or real prices
