## What is Genba Drill?

Genba Drill is a free study app built specifically for Japan's construction-sector Specified Skilled Worker (特定技能1号) written exam.

■ Who it's for

Technical Intern Trainees and Specified Skilled Workers working in construction in Japan
Anyone who wants to learn site safety, regulations and construction terminology in real Japanese
Learners who want quick, repeatable review on their phone between shifts

■ Main features

Flashcards: every term shown with furigana readings and romaji pronunciation. Meanings and explanations are also available in Vietnamese, Indonesian, English or Filipino — pick your language in Settings
Quiz: matches the real exam format — questions and answer choices in Japanese only, so you build genuine reading ability. Explanations are shown in your chosen language to support learning without giving away the answer
Mock exam: 30 questions in 60 minutes, the same as the real written exam. See how far you are from the 65% pass line, and your score by chapter
Daily reminder at 20:00, skipped on days you have already studied
Review list: a simplified SM-2 spaced-repetition schedule brings items back right when you're about to forget them
Chapter-based study: 9 chapters covering health & safety basics, PPE, scaffolding, machinery & electrical safety, 5S, laws & regulations, workplace greetings, types of construction work, and construction methods/site terms — 134 terms, 231 multiple-choice questions and 109 true/false (○×) questions in total
Glossary: every term learned so far, searchable and sorted in Japanese alphabetical order
Set an exam date and every item is scheduled to appear at least once before it

■ Why you can trust it

Every term and question cites its source (mostly the text of Japanese law and materials from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare / Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism)
All content is free. The reward video is entirely optional — every chapter and question is available without it
Works fully offline once installed

■ Please note
This app is not produced by, or affiliated with, the Japan Association for Construction Human Resources (JAC), the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, or any other official body. It is an independent, unofficial study aid. All terms, questions and sources shown are samples and are not the official exam content.
