## What is GenChord?

GenChord Guitar is a chord and music theory tool built around the guitar fretboard. It does more than show where to place your fingers. It connects chords, scales, fingering shapes, diatonic harmony, and tensions on the same fretboard, so you can understand why each voicing works.

Use the Library to search chords by root, type, and tension, including triads, seventh chords, sixth chords, sus, aug, dim, half-dim, b5, #5, bb7, and 9/11/13 tensions. Open Chord Explain to see the same chord across the Mi, Sol, La, Si, and Re shapes, which correspond to the CAGED system.

Generate I-VII diatonic chords from major, minor, harmonic minor, melodic minor, and church modes. Start from any string and fret in the Fingering Tool to build a scale shape and the chords inside it. Play voicings as strums, arpeggios, or randomized notes, then save useful chords into Collections with iCloud Drive or local storage.

GenChord Guitar is a fretboard-first way to study harmony, guitar voicings, accompaniment, arranging, and improvisation.

和弦构造器里的指法可以自定义吗？想把曲子的和弦走向写进去，但默认的指法只有几个固定的指型，和常用的按法不太一样（要是能自定义就太好了🥹

之前钢琴的也用过，就等着吉他的。没想到有了！赞！

目前作为工具来说已经很完整了，但希望今后能过增加下面的功能：一个是和弦的播放示例除了分解和弦也给出strumming的选项。 另一个今后希望能够加入学习/训练模式。

虽然很多软件和弦都挺全，但是这个CAGED系统按照顺序排列很直观，不仅是和弦内音还有音阶指形全部音符。

钢琴吉他版本我都买了，可谓花点小钱解决大问题。真的客观的说钢琴版本无敌，吉他版本的还可以，但有待提高：首先暗色黑夜模式下显示是有问题，这个是个bug。对于吉他高阶和弦的情况，指法显示是其实是乐理解释，虽然乐理上是对的，但实际演奏中，不太可能这样去按，复杂的和弦，应该做一个可以编辑指法的功能，如果可以弄出这功能，就可以涨价了哈哈。

是的，这是你见过的为数不多适配Liquid Glass 的小工具，对乐理来说是特殊的设计，对开发来说也是一个大胆的选择。
