Need more info of what strategy when checking class before buying from store. Only buying the unit/class you are able to view, need a function to view before deciding to buy. PvP still unbalance so much, low lvl vs high lvl and sometimes winning earning 3 points but losing like 20-30 points. Unless you are rich, you don’t get very far. Everything in the game is very expensive. I have been playing games for many years and this one is one of the more expensive ones for what you get. Also, I find the game difficult to figure out. I spent money on equipment that I didn’t even need. So, in my opinion, 1 star is what this game deserves and mainly because of the greed of the company. Also, the more money you spend, the more difficult the game becomes. I can hardly win any battles so therefore I cannot progress so the game becomes very hard. I have no choice but quit playing. Remember to welcome you back at any time. ### 1/5 — Childish and confusing *2025-04-21* 8-bit game play with confusing story lines. ### 1/5 — ruined by greedy developers *2025-04-04* devs have made it clear that the only people they care about are those that will spend hundreds of dollars on their game, it has become almost impossible to advance in the game and all characters have been nerfed into uselessness by recent patches. the devs claim this is to balance the game but all it's done is to add countless hours of pointless grind to get back to where characters once were. avoid this game at all costs **Developer response:** Oh, man! This is a hardcore real historical strategy game. We must maintain the relative balance and growth of the attributes of the generals of each civilization. Only in this way can players enjoy the strategic fun of the armed configuration of the army. As for consumption and in-app purchases. We also tend to have a lot of balance. But you basically only get one play through. The basic idea is that you play through the same campaigns and dungeons to get loot that will make your generals strong enough to challenge the increased difficulty campaigns and dungeons that have better loot, etc, etc. Problem is that you need the loot from a “tier 2” dungeon to actually beat a “tier 2” dungeon. It’s a catch 22. You simply can’t make your generals strong enough on “tier 1” loot to beat the “tier 2” dungeons. And from the looks of it that problem will repeat every “tier.” Heck you can’t even increase the “tier” of your generals without the loot from a tier 3 dungeon. You can make them a little stronger in other ways but it goes to the trend. Which is that progress is hard-locked behind a paywall that will repeat every “tier.” Furthermore when you do max out your generals on “tier 1” gear the “tier 1” campaigns and dungeons loose all challenge but those same generals can barely even scratch the “tier 2” campaigns and dungeons. Still the game is cool and worth a play through at least once. **Developer response:** Thank you! ### 2/5 — needs some work *2024-12-30* the game is fun, there's a ton of strategy involved, you actually need to use your brain. that being said, its absurdly difficult. enemies level is equal to the highest lvl character in your party which means your heroes never feel powerful. the only way to get an advantage is by getting better equipment which is vanishingly rare. all the challenges that drop equipment effectively require you to have better gear than what you are aiming for. **Developer response:** Thank you! It’s reminiscent of the old school strategy grid type games I used to play. I recommend trying it out. There are Daily Dungeons, multiple Story Campaigns of famous leader/warrior/generals, an Arena and a Coliseum. You’ll be directing each general on the battle field separately by charging into the heat of battle, defending against overwhelming odds, or be positioned behind the front lines lending support to troops and allies. There’s no timer, or energy too. Play at your own leisure.
