I give to you 3 stars ### 2/5 — Why? *2025-07-17* This is really useful for like 10 minutes if it has what you want for free but it’s absolutely useless after. Why would I pay to use a generator I can probably find for free online!? I thought it would be nice for making worlds but I think I would rather spend 2hours searching the web for the same thing. Just unlock everything and add some ads whenever you want to go to a generator or something! **Developer response:** I'm an indie dev trying to make a living, so unfortunately I can't give everything away for free. I created a custom generator and when I saved one of the creations, it won’t let me access it, and worse it won’t let me save any other creations or delete it. Opened app, no apparent way to try features with ‘supporting indie developers’. Paid for ‘all generators’. Attempts at generating content results in another paywall demanding 79.99 annual subscription to generate. That is insane, given the UI,UX and (apparent) features. If indie developers want support, maybe allow users to try features first, stick to one paywall or explain properly that greed is the motivator, don’t charge exorbitant subscription fees, avoid ‘dark patterns’ which big companies engage in. I closed and reopened the app, turned off my phone, redownloaded it. Stupid devs, make it actually free. ### 1/5 — Not worth giving away for free *2020-01-31* Look, I don’t write a lot of reviews for apps, but this one just needed it. There are a lot of 5 star reviews for this app and I really cannot fathom how. Seriously, how?! First off, you get two generators for free, all others must be bought, and it seems like the price has dropped over the years based on the older reviews. However, the generators don’t have much thought put into them, every single one is basic and weak. If you’re a hobby type person, this might give some inspiration to get you going, but even that’s not much. Granted, it gives a good amount of info for thought when generating, but beyond that, there are better generators out there for free. Take, for instance, the fantasy creature generator. The other details on it maybe of some use, not all, but some, when generating something. The names it generates? Completely useless. Most of them are just random words thrown together, everyday words. Which again, might be fine for the hobbyist, but even that’s a stretch. A lot of the names make no sense because they are words thrown together, and when they aren’t actual words, they are jumbled of crap you can’t hardly pronounce and seem based on nothing. You can add, remove, and edit any and all categories, all except Name; that's left completely unchangeable, which I personally don't quite like. If the Name category were able to be changed to our liking in any and all entries to all generators, that would make this neat lil app perfect to use for anyone with a creative itch. Nevertheless I'm giving this app five stars anyway because of how meticulously crafted this app is. My only complaint is that one little thing.
