I wasn’t even greeted at the door. The person at the front was talking with staff over at the cooking grill. I was surprised to find out that I was given a bowl, and then my food was returned prepared and served in a cardboard bowl. When I made my order, I realize that you no longer have brown rice, and I was given an option of white rice or fried rice, of which neither one was mix with the ingredients, but put on the side of the bowl. And then to my surprised my cost for a small bowl with a drink for two was $35. Most likely I won’t return. ABEL was our server…from the jump, this young man was an asset, and a tremendous example of a “Good Server!!” He was professional, courteous, friendly…handled every aspect of our meal without any problems, and took care of all our needs! The food was equally delicious, hot, and flavourful!! Neither of our dishes were in need of anything! We will be returning here for more opportunities such as this evening!! Constantly get a “unable to authenticate” error when trying to order online. I’ve tried reinstalling and clearing cache but it never fixes any of these. Then arguing with other waitress because she didn’t know who food was who, but I can say the short dark skin guy just looked stressed out because he had to literally slice all her problems and going back fourth about everything in the store when they’re other few worked. He’s a good guy to be handling all himself. But that one lady I never seen just was messing everything up. The app is super clunky and barely achieves its function. The design is super lazy. The checkout/ order experience is horrible. The ordering feels like it’s running a browser within the app. You have to sign in to Ghengis Grill’s website again within the checkout window. There’s two taskbars at the bottom for some reason when you start the order. I found out the hard way that it lets you select all the veggies but won’t let you add the order to bag unless you select five or less. I sat for 20 minutes trying to figure out why it wouldn’t go to checkout. It didn’t even have a red banner or anything pop up that said “must have 5 or less vegetables.” For a second I was worried after I put in my payment information because the app functions a lot more like a phishing scam than it does an online ordering app. I hope Genghis Grill didn’t pay their software development consultants much because this is a complete failure. I hope no one willingly put this app in their portfolio. My challenge is it’s SO GOOD i sometimes can’t stop! I get at least two meals of high quality meats, fruits & veggies and that fits with a strict diet I’m doing as part of a New Year’s resolution.
