## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.5 — 2026-04-20

Matching math answers is now much easier for kids. They can draw a relaxed line with a finger or Apple Pencil, and Geni is much more forgiving when that line reaches the right result.

Improved
• Matching activities now follow the path kids actually draw, so math practice feels more natural
• Answer boxes are easier to connect, which means little hands do not need perfect precision
• Hear Me Read follows your child's pace more smoothly during guided reading

Fixed
• Fixed a bug that could create impossible expression-to-result matches in some math exercises
• Fixed chapter progress edge cases so completed work stays aligned with the real session

### 1.1.4 — 2026-04-18

Reading with the microphone is now much more forgiving, so kids can keep going even if they read a little faster, slower, or need another try. Math progress is more reliable too.

Improved
• Hear Me Read now follows kids more naturally and gets unstuck far less often during guided reading
• Added a clearer way to continue if speech recognition hesitates during reading activities

Fixed
• Fixed a bug that could show a math chapter as completed before all exercises were finished
• Chapter progress now stays aligned with the real number of exercises in each session

### 1.1.3 — 2026-04-18

This update makes daily math sessions smoother and clearer for kids.

• Fixed a bug that could mark a chapter as completed too early during a session
• Improved comparison questions so answer choices no longer show equivalent values
• Restored the instruction text for match-the-operation exercises

### 1.1.2 — 2026-04-10

What's new in this update:

- Switch profiles right from the home screen - just tap a sibling's emoji!
- Smoother animations when opening rewards and settings
- Coins and streaks now animate when they update
- Parents: PIN now requires confirmation when first set, and can be turned off anytime
- Profile names must now be unique - no more duplicate names!

### 1.1.1 — 2026-04-05

This update makes Geni feel warmer, clearer, and more playful right from the start.

New
• Refreshed onboarding with a bigger mascot, playful tap animation, and friendlier colors
• More avatar choices are now available directly from the dashboard

Improved
• A cleaner dashboard with fewer distractions and clearer challenge access
• Challenge cards now stay visible so kids can see what unlocks after today's mission

Fixed
• Starting a new profile from onboarding now takes kids to the dashboard correctly
• Several onboarding and home-screen flow issues were cleaned up
