Also I don’t like the way you have to loose your children if your homeless . My only issue is that when you guys do an update, all my data (previous lives) go away. The game is amazing, a few things to possibly add: being able grow a company higher than $20+ billion. Also, adding more realistic houses and cars. Doesn’t seem to be a point in playing if everything can be erased. Even the saved lives vanished. ### 1/5 — Randomly keep dying *2026-05-07, version 5.0.3* In every life i start i end up dying before 30 years old randomly and it just renders all my progress a waste of time ### 1/5 — Bad Life Simulation *2026-02-28* this simulation game feels unfinished and lacks cohesion. many mechanics don’t make sense, and the graphics are not assembly weak. if it’s trying to compete with BitLife, it needs major improvements and more depth. i’m not sure what stage of development this is supposed to represent, but before a non-beta release is very disappointing. I played through two full lives in lost interest quickly. overall, it’s underwhelming and needs major refinement. **Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to play through multiple lives and share your thoughts. GenLife is intentionally designed as a strategy focused life simulation where wealth requires active management including taxes, upkeep, inflation and long term investing. It’s built to reward forward planning rather than passive accumulation. If parts of the system felt unclear or disconnected, that’s valuable feedback. I’m continuously improving clarity, balance and presentation so the depth feels intentional and cohesive. We appreciate you giving it a try. ### 2/5 — The wealth system upkeep is too high!!! It’s still not fix *2026-06-15, version 5.6.3* It’s seems the next generation has a “ wealth management & up keep tax “ that eats up the entire inherited profits. ### 2/5 — Just a suggestion *2026-03-09* I like the game, and would like to rate it higher. However, each character dies very prematurely. Health begins to deteriorate really fast when you get in your 30s despite going to the gym and morning jogs which you can only do once per year. There should be more longevity when it comes to having characters. BitLife’s character have better longevity than the ones in GenLife. It’s like once I finally get to a goal in a career path my character passes away. **Developer response:** Health in GenLife depends heavily on using Personal Staff Services and Elite Transformation Services. Gym visits and jogs help, but they’re minor compared to those health investments. Characters who regularly use those services usually maintain their health much longer and can live 80+ years. ### 3/5 — I would rather play this than the *other* game *2026-03-25* This game has a lot of potential, but I updated the game and lost the generation I was building because it started me over with a new life, and my saved lives are of course, also gone. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! Accidents and health outcomes are influenced by the choices you make throughout the game, but there’s also an element of unpredictability built into the simulation. I appreciate you seeing the potential in the game, and I’m working on improving balance and giving players clearer insight into what affects survival and longevity. ### 5/5 — LOVE LOVE *2026-04-21* PLEASE make it so it doesn’t wipe my history after every update.
