Probably back in iOS 18, but on the current latest update iOS 26.5 the app does not open whatsoever. Please fix ### 1/5 — Constantly loses connection *2026-04-25, version 2.4.2* Is this the best that could do Genmitsu? C’mon. Annoying disconnections and lack of GUI and feature updates. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t maintain network connection *2026-04-22, version 2.4.2* Says network configured but keeps jumping back to select concert and start pairing ### 2/5 — So so *2026-01-16, version 2.4.0* It’s got good potential but needs a few more rough edges polished out. It’s too easy to press the wrong button and end up back on the select device screen and have to redo all the homing and zeroing. Seems to be an intermittent bug where zeroing the work piece before loading the file ends up changing the zero point and if you don’t notice the router crashes into the stock. App is forced landscape on iPad but has stuff off the bottom of the screen. There are many other small issues which make this frustrating to use, especially as it’s not that far away from being good ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-01-13, version 2.4.0* Connectivity is impossible to maintain making the app completely useless. Seems a parallel with their customer support for CNC tools that are responsive but don’t actually know what they are talking about. Now regretting my investment in Genmitsu ### 1/5 — Got it to work with difficulty *2026-01-11, version 2.4.0* Disregard last review as I got it to work. The app definitely needs some work as connecting isn’t as easy as they say. Make sure your wifi is 2.4 ghz or you will have trouble. App is good but limited and there should be more information on how to use the machine. Please make this app better as I believe you have a solid foundation for an awesome app if worked on. Cheers. ### 2/5 — Laser Genmitsu *2026-01-11, version 2.4.0* Die empfohlene Software für den Laser CutLabX ist eine einzige Katastrophe. Hier muss man immer wieder alles neu einstellen. Absolut 0 Sterne. Die Software Genmitsu hat erst ganz gut funktioniert und jetzt nach 6 Monaten komme ich noch bis zur Vorschau und dann geht nichts mehr. Das Gerät ist ganz gut, die Software ist nicht zu gebrauchen. I have the name of the Wi-Fi the password of the Wi-Fi but it doesn’t matter. It just says close and start up the kiosk again and connect the Wi-Fi. It just is a constant loop. ### 1/5 — Still No Rotary Axis *2026-01-06, version 2.4.0* Wifi upgrade to the Genmitsu CNC machines is pretty much a waste of time. None of the usual hobby senders, Candle, UGS, OpenBuilds can use wireless and so you are stuck with just this app which is sub standard in comparison.
