## What is Genterminal?

Genterminal is a fast, native SSH client for iPhone and iPad — built for developers and sysadmins who need a real terminal on the go.

CONNECT
• Full SSH support with password or private-key authentication
• Works great with tmux and long-running sessions
• Function-key bar (Ctrl, Alt, Esc, arrows, Tab) and an expanded key panel for everything your shell needs
• CJK-correct rendering with a bundled monospace font

TRANSFER
• Built-in SFTP browser — upload, download, and preview files
• Files land in the Files app under "On My iPhone → Terminal"

SECURE
• Host passwords, passphrases, and private keys are encrypted in a local vault
• Your vault is unlocked only on-device with a password you choose
• Secrets are end-to-end encrypted before they ever sync

SYNC
• Sign in to keep your hosts, identities, groups, and snippets in sync across your devices
• Sign in with Apple, Google, or your Genspark account

Genterminal keeps your screen awake while a session is connected so the OS won't drop it. Note: like all general-purpose iOS apps, sessions are suspended shortly after the app is backgrounded.
