## What is Gentle Wuff?

Gentle Wuff is a directory of places that welcome dogs — cafés, parks, trails, patios, shops — with the details you need before you drive there.
Most listings stop at "dog friendly." Gentle Wuff tells you whether the patio has shade, whether water is available, what the leash policy is, how loud and crowded it gets, and whether it works for a small dog or a big one.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Search and filter
Browse by category or filter to what you need: off-leash areas, shaded patios, indoor seating, small-dog friendly, quiet spots.
See it on the map
Every place is pinned and color-coded to your dog. Green fits, yellow means check the details, red means skip it.
Match places to your dog
Add your dog's size, breed, energy level, and sensitivities. Places get scored against that profile so you're not reading listings meant for someone else's dog.
Get a pick for today
One suggestion each day based on your dog and the weather, with backups and warnings like hot pavement in the afternoon.
Leave a quick review
A few taps after your visit. Was the staff welcoming, were the other dogs calm, was water out. Takes ten seconds and helps the next owner.
Ask the local owners
Post visits, ask questions, share what you found. Local answers stay attached to the places they're about.
Save what works
Favorites, collections like "Rainy Day Backups" or "Weekend Adventures," and a separate profile for each dog.
Add a place we're missing

Free to download. Gentle Wuff is built by dog owners in the US and grows as owners add places and reviews.
