If you max out the settings sensitivity and use it as a base for the gzdoom sensitivity it makes the deadzone smaller but it's still present and feels bad to the point I can only play with freelook turned off. Im sure most people play with a controller so it's not huge issue but for people that come from other mobile games like COD Mobile or Delta Force Mobile and know how to play well with the touchscreen and gyro it doesn't feel great. So glad I did. Watched a YouTube video on what to download and it’s so easy. Now I’m addicted finding new wad’s to then try with this app. Plays very well and some of the wads are like totally new games. Best £1.99 I’ve spent. Thanks Mr Dev !! Keep up the good work and a big thank you for your patience working with Apple. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not Working on iPadOS 26.1 *2025-12-10, version 2025.10.0* I recently updated to iPadOS 26.1, and none of my launch configurations work anymore! It just closes the app every time I try to open one. If it matters, I have MyHouse.pk3, the Golden Souls remaster, and nothing else. Neither of them work. Please fix! ### 1/5 — Complete waste of time *2025-09-30* If you're using an external mouse and keyboard this is absolutely useless. The app has a million bugs that are impossible to fix, they keep coming whenever you solve one. At first it was a weird issue with auto-aim switching my weapons when i aimed at a monster, then it turned into the menu literally flashing the options even though I was not holding any keys, then it started switching my gun whenever I picked up ammo for another one, then there was the screen glitching, so many errors, and so much more. I downloaded this because I'm disabled and I struggle using my PC since it's far away and I obviously can't watch it in bed or without discomfort, so my iPad has gotten me through my disability since it's the right size for me to choose the angle. I've loved Doom since I was little because I played it with my best friend who passed away a long time ago. I was really looking forward to being able to play it but turns out it would be even more stressful for me to try and solve every weird unheard of bug instead of remembering my childhood and relaxing. I hope there's better support for keyboards and mice in the future, I'm pretty bummed out. I even bought a new mouse for this app since I assumed the issue was with me using my magic mouse that kind of clicked funny and moved too slow, turns out the problem was the app itself. After deleting this app from my device, my WAD files were locked into only opening with the app. The files show the apps logo and I cannot open them with any other port or emulator no matter what fixes I try, my files are completely useless if I want to use them fo any other app that isn't this one, but I can't even play on this one because my weapon changes every time I shoot, then when I pick up ammo, then when looking at a monster, etc. Do not download this app because it will take over your wads and if you store your originals on your ipad then you're pretty much screwed. I had a security backup on another device so I could retrieve my wads but others don't have backups and could permanently have their wads attached to an app that doesn't offer good support for mice and keyboards and has a million different issues when trying to use them. I really hope that this will be fixed one day, guess I'll go back to watching Doom videos rather than playing since I haven't found any reliable way to play. ### 1/5 — Crashes too much *2025-05-19* Doesnt load any wads and the supposedly zdoom pk game file doesnt work.
