## What is geodb field?

geoDB Field — offline data collection for mineral exploration

Log drill holes, collect soil and rock samples, and map geology in the field — online or off. Built for geologists and field crews who need their data captured accurately the first time, without cell signal.

Three workflows, one app

Drill Logging — Record collars, lithology, alteration, structure, mineralization, and samples against a downloaded drill hole, with GPS surveys and 4K core photos. Everything queues locally and syncs when you're back in range.

Field Work — Execute planned soil sampling and claim staking programs with GPS navigation. Quality-control bags (standards, blanks, duplicates) download to your device and fill by scanning a barcode — no more writing bag numbers by hand. Stations that still owe a field duplicate are marked right on the map. If a project runs more than one sampling program, pick which one you're working and the station list, map, and QC queue all narrow to match.

Geologic Mapping — GPS-tied sketches, structure measurements, field notes, and photo capture, with your drill holes, samples, and claims rendered as reference layers underneath.

• Roads on the field map — Your project's roads and access routes now display on the map, color-coded by access status (open, closed, gated, seasonal) with dashed lines for gated or closed routes. Roads are cached on your device, so access information stays with you offline.

• Custom drill intervals — Log any interval type your project defines: Redox, Weathering, Clay %, vein density, and more. Create a type on the geoDB web app and it appears in the app after your next sync — no app update needed. Categorical types get a pick list with your project's own values and colors; numeric types get a value entry with units. Photos, notes, and custom fields included.

• Strip log — A new Custom track displays your custom interval types alongside lithology, alteration, and the rest, with each type in its own lane.

• Stability — Fixed a crash that could occur when the map was opening while layers were still loading, and improved map performance on projects with large numbers of samples.

• Sync reliability — Large road datasets now sync completely, locally cached data is preserved if a sync is interrupted, and background sync is faster and quieter for contractor field crews.
