This has happened a couple of times. My only request is to do with refueling. It is difficult to tell what is being asked as the music and sound of the cash register drowns out parts of the speech. Secondly, would like the option to read the fuel questions instead of listening to them. The game's design is, well, simple and easy to work with but there aren't enough questions for each state. Also, it's too hard to win. finally, even if you could win, there's a computer glitch and design flaw. If you change colors of your vehicle during the game, you have to start over. That's okay but they don't warn you ahead of time so you lose all your progress. Finally, sometimes it glitches and won't work at all. Good idea but flawed designs. We had two states left and all of our data disappeared. Very frustrating. I would have given 5 stars but there is no way to save your progress nor your Garage name as a player. I don't want my kids playing for hours to do all 50 states and they get frustrated that they can't put the game down after 30 minutes and then come back to it later. I looked everywhere for a "save game" button. My iPad is updated with the latest software so it can't be that. (It does ask if you want to continue when you go to another window within the game, but no saving to exit) ### 3/5 — Love this game *2014-03-20, version 1.06* This game is great and one the entire family can enjoy and learn from all at the same time. We are racing to see who will clear all 50 states first. :) I would give 5 stars if the game would stop kicking us off after playing for extended periods and now anytime we've cleared more than 40 states. It's very frustrating and after paying for this app I expect it to let us complete our games. If this gets fixed I'll give it 5 stars. We are running on an iPad. Can somebody please help with this matter? ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great Geography App! *2025-07-28, version 1.18* OK....so Geography Drive USA totally met (and surpassed) my expectations for an app for my kids to help learn their states and capitals and their geography. What I didn't expect was how much I would enjoy the game. I say "game", because you don't feel like you are playing some kind of educational app, but rather a game that you have trouble putting down. Thank you to the developers for making learning maps and geography so much fun for both me and my kids. ### 5/5 — Great addition to Homeschooling *2025-07-23, version 1.18* When my kids were studying US Geography, we learned about a new state every week. So each week they would “drive” to their state in Geography Drive USA. It really helped them remember a lot of the state facts, state capitals, & state shapes.
