The app captures GPS locations, dates, times, sun and moon rises and sets, and even identifies what phase the moon is in on a particular date. You can enter your own notes to the photos that will help you with planning that return trip (like perhaps “construction equipment will be gone in 2 weeks”) and finding the best time of day to capture based on the sun’s position.
