Ads keep popping up at start up freezing the app. Really useless

The adds and add pop-ups make the app essentially useless. It appears to be only an advertising delivery vehicle not a geological term dictionary. App also crashes if you ignore the adds hoping that they will time out.

I understand that the app is free but when you go to open the app. The first thing you get thrown in your face is an ad; not just one but three ads consecutively, gets really annoying and you have to click the add because there is no other way to get rid of it.

Don't waste your time, it's basically an ad delivery app with a dictionary that crashes when you've finally finished all the ad clicks.

This dictionary ap has a ton of advertiser BS that pops up every time you activate it. A necessary evil I suppose for the convenience of having the terms at hand for free. Definitions appear to be accurate to a layman, o hurrah for that.
