## What is GeoManager?

Track where your time is spent, monitor residency and stay-limit signals, and keep insurance and document deadlines organized — all in one app.

First launch: Choose your language, import historical location data (Google Maps Takeout or GPX), and take a guided tour. A demo dataset is available to explore before using your own records. You can skip importing your previous data and use only the locations the app will add going forward.

Calendar & tracking Automatic background tracking builds a day-by-day calendar with the dominant country for each date. Swipe between months, jump to any month, open any day for detail, add notes, and correct country or city with a searchable picker.

Fiscal residency & tax monitoring Set your fiscal residence and monitor days per country against configurable thresholds. Risk indicators (safe, warning, critical, danger), remaining-day counts, annual views, year switching, and in-app disclaimer.

Schengen 90/180 Rolling calculation with usage, remaining days, window dates, release date, and per-country breakdown. A built-in simulator lets you plan future trips in segments and preview estimated impact on your allowance.

Alerts Threshold alerts for fiscal limits, insurance expiry, and document deadlines — grouped by severity. Full push notification control.

Travel map Interactive map with date-range filtering, route visualization, and stats: countries, continents, days. Save a default range across sessions.

Trip planner Plan trips end to end: overview, budget with expense splits, itinerary, jet lag planner, checklist, and notes. Track expenses by category, attach receipts from library or camera, and divide costs with suggested settlements. Visa countdown included. Export/import trip itinerary and expenses.

Trip simulator Multi-segment future itineraries with fiscal and Schengen impact simulation and threshold warnings — before you book.

Statistics Lifetime and yearly stats: countries, continents, streaks, longest trip. Year-over-year comparison. Timeline grouped by country/year, searchable by country or city.

Insurance Manage policies with coverage details, add-ons, remaining days, renewal tracking, and expiry monitoring. Data feeds into widgets and the expiry calendar.

Documents & expiry calendar Store passports, visas, licences with expiry dates. Unified calendar shows documents and insurance together, grouped by urgency.

Tools Tax notes, timezone meeting helper, offline phrasebook, pre-departure checklist, flag quiz, shortcuts to insurance, trip planner, and visa countdown.

Backup, import & export JSON backup/restore. Google Maps or GPX import with preview and merge/overwrite. CSV and PDF export for any date range.

Appearance Auto, Light, or Dark theme. Simple and Widget styles with adjustable transparency, customized color setting for tools text. Day/night backgrounds. Home-screen widgets with configurable content.
