## What is Georgia Bites?

Stop guessing whether today is worth the gas money.

Georgia Bites reads live weather, barometric pressure, moon phase, solunar periods, and USGS river-gauge data, then turns all of it into one number from 0 to 100 for each species — so you can tell at a glance whether the fish are likely to eat.

WHAT YOU GET

• Separate scores for Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and Catfish. Each species reacts differently to the same day: catfish come alive on warm summer nights that shut the bass down, and the app scores them that way instead of giving you one generic rating.

• A full breakdown behind every score. Tap through and see exactly what helped and what hurt — water temperature, barometric trend, time of day, solunar window, cloud cover, wind, moon phase, season, and dam generation. No black box.

• A 24-hour outlook for each species, with the three best windows starred. Plan around the bite instead of hoping you picked the right hours.

• A solunar timeline showing major and minor feeding periods, sunrise and sunset, and moonrise against the current time.

• Ask the guide. Get a plain-English read on today's conditions for the species you're chasing — where to focus, what presentation the conditions favor, and a lake-specific tip.

• Lake zones. Score the upper river end, the main lake, or the dam pool, because the same reservoir fishes three different ways.

THE LAKES

Lanier, Hartwell, Clarks Hill (J. Strom Thurmond), West Point, Allatoona, Oconee, Sinclair, Walter F. George (Eufaula), Seminole, Blackshear, Jackson, and Carters. Pick your lake once and the app remembers it.

REAL DATA, NOT A GUESS

Weather and forecast come from Open-Meteo. Dam generation and current come from live USGS river gauges below each dam. Sun, moon, and solunar times are calculated for your lake's exact coordinates. Everything refreshes on its own while you're on the water.

Two things we're upfront about: water temperature is estimated from a rolling air-temperature average and is shown with a ~ to make that clear, and a few lakes have no below-dam gauge, in which case the app says so instead of inventing a number.

NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING

There's nothing to sign up for. The app collects no personal data, has no ads, and stores only your chosen lake on your own device.
