Die App gefällt mir ganz gut, aber ein Punkt stört mich. Wir sind aktuell im Urlaub. An unserem Urlaubsort spielt sich das meiste Leben um den alten Hafen ab. Hier sind jede Menge Lokale, aber auch Geschäfte, Museen usw. Wo ich genau bin, kann die App leider nicht immer fehlerfrei erkennen. Ich möchte aber später möglicherweise wissen, wo genau ich war. Deshalb pflege ich nach. Das wäre dann für mich ok. Leider schlägt dann die App zu und überschreibt meine Einträge immer wieder. Das finde ich sehr schade. Leider weiß ich nicht, wie ich das kleine Problem lösen kann.

No subscriptions, no data harvesting. Just a nice clean app with a one time fee that does exactly what you want - look back at your travels and reminisce. I love playing back my trips and seeing where all I went on a given day. It even pulls in my workouts from apple health which is nice. The way it automatically records the location makes this so dead simple to use. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time, and I’ve finally found it!

This app was the golden nugget I have been searching for. How to log my trips with ease, be able to see where I went, write a synopsis of my trip, and go on my merry way. I originally began looking for an app to log my trips because I started to realize I couldn’t keep specific trips to see family members separate anymore; and that bothered me. Each trip is special, and accomplishes different things. No longer are they lost to my camera roll, or a few short sentences on FB. I can look forward to my upcoming trips, I can reminisce on past trips, keep track of who was with me.  Because in 10 years, I probably won’t remember. But Geory will. 
I will always wholeheartedly support an app that is also very dedicated to my personal privacy. I understand I invite that possibility of privacy invasion in by looking for an app to track my travel, but here there is no compromise. I have told every travel loving junkie I can find about this app, and will continue to try and support a developer dedicated to a project like this. Thanks Felix!

Die Anwendung ist aktuell gut für neue Reisen.  


Leider gibt aktuell März 26 keine Möglichkeit eine vergangene Reise zu dokumentieren. Dies könnte man sicher über die verfügbaren Fotos realisieren. Fotos auswählen, Metadaten einlesen und daraus dann die vergangene Reise erstellen, Möglichkeit zur Nachbereitung, dannn mich wäre sie dann besser als die anderen Platzhirsche.

One update way back I spoke to the owner. He was so nice and took what I used the app for and I would say added options that helped me even further. (Double brain trauma) memory of if and when I did something sometimes can elude me. These are so many ways I can prove myself oops I forgot or yes I did drop that off at UPS. The app just keeps getting better and I believe I have been using it since day one. Thank you for always bringing this app forward to giving me piece of mind and away to keep track of little things that I just don’t or can’t need to focus on any longer.

Ich liebe die App um sowohl alle Wege und Orte aufzuzeichnen als auch Urlaube usw. Sie funktioniert zuverlässig und verbraucht nur 1% Akku und lässt sich intuitiv bedienen. Kleiner Vorschlag zur Verbesserung: die PDF Export Funktion könnte etwas hübscher aufbereitet sein und auch die Statistik beinhalten die man sonst in der Übersicht sieht.

Ich benutze Geory schon recht lange und in mehreren Urlaubsreisen, um im Nachgang Fotos mit Geodaten anzureichern.
In der Vergangenheit habe ich viele Lösungen getestet, Sony & Garmin GPX Tracker, verschiedene Softwarelösungen. Keine hat mich vom Workflow überzeugt (vergessen zu starten, umständlicher Export, Ressourcenhungrig, teuer, ungenau usw.)Geory läuft automatisch auf dem Smartphone, benötigt sehr wenige Ressourcen, bietet eine Menge Bearbeitungsmöglichkeiten im Nachgang und einen einfachen Export. Der Preis ist mehr als fair. Wird konstant weiterentwickelt. Einzig eine automatische iCloud Synchronisation zwischen mehreren Geräten fehlt. Bin mir aber sicher, dass das in der Zukunft kommt ;)
