## What is GeoTime?

GeoTime is a world clock and timezone app that determines your current timezone based on GPS location anywhere in the world, including at sea. It features an interactive timezone map and a customizable world clock list for easy reference, ideal for business or recreational travel.

### 1.7.0 — 2026-09-10

Your list can hold more than one place per timezone — Tampa and New York can both be on it. A city and its timezone are now separate entries, and a city says where it is: Nelson, BC. Ports of call appear on the map with arrival times; tap one for the cruise that calls there, or keep it as a clock. The map glides to whatever you pick instead of jumping. Widgets no longer repeat a clock, and tell two places of one name apart. Lighter map highlights, and better time sync.

Aboard a ship, everything now reads from ship time. The clock you are living by is the ship's, and the place you sailed from becomes an ordinary row with an offset like any other.

Her ports of call are searchable by name now, and join your clock list marked with an anchor.

Your timezone comes from a far more detailed map, so small islands and coastlines resolve to where you are actually standing rather than to the water nearby.

See where your ship is. Add a Royal Carribean or Carnival cruise ship to your world clock and it now appears on the map and home page widget, along with the track it has sailed and the route still ahead of it.

Tap the ship to light up everywhere on Earth currently keeping the same time, and to see where it is headed next.

Maps are sharper throughout, with crisper text at every zoom.

Ship time for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruises.

Search for a ship by name and add it to your world clock. A ship's clock is set by the crew and shifts mid-cruise, so it isn't something a map can work out — GeoTime asks the ship.

Board one and connect to wifi, and it's recognised automatically, with a Ship Time reading beside your local and device time. It stays on your list when you go ashore, so you still know when to be back.
