Paid over 45$ for this app 2 months ago and the update invalidated my app- it’s now asking my to pay again 20$ for the next year! A rip off

The update invalidated my approximately 6 month old subscription and now offers of course to sell me access again for $20. The link to restore a previous subscription is non-functional within the app.
