If you click on a word, it will take you to another word rather than provide the translation. It is very frustrating. Also showed the phrase and word of the day to my German Tutor who was not impressed and told me to ignore them as they are helpful. ### 4/5 — In App Purchases *2016-11-20, version 17.0* The app is pretty good, as sometimes google translate doesn't really have accurate translations, but the app could at least remove the need to pay $1.50 to be able to know how to pronounce certain words if needed. ### 4/5 — Ich mag es *2015-01-17* I like this App because it has some functions to learn words (eg. Bookmark, games)and it also has English/Deutsch dictionaries. It helps me to learn not only German but English. I appreciate if you make the function of Flash card more usefully. However, it doesn't include the genders taken by prepositions in when looking up English or German, and includes past and perfect forms of verbs only under German headwords. Many ablauts are omitted entirely ### 2/5 — No genders *2013-12-24* The lack of articles (gender) in the german words make this dictionary unhelpfull when trying to learn the language. I don't recomend it. Scam app! *2024-10-04* Poorly designed app. Everything is spread out over multiple in app purchases. I purchased to remove ads and pronunciation, which only worked ONCE directly after the purchase and then started giving ads again after reopening the app. Save your time and money. ### 1/5 — Version is Seriously Problematic *2022-07-21* As a user of this app for more than 8 years, I can say don't waste your time with this current version. There are significant bugs that impact the ability to store data, rely upon words that you have bookmarked and requires you to “restore” purchases almost every other day. Likely a full-scale scam to require you to purchase the full package version versus the component parts that you’re likely to use. I only had to spend 10 minutes with it, while doing my German home, work to realize it is not a full German dictionary. 30% of the words I was looking up weren't there.
