该 App 只提供每个德文单词的对应英文翻译。不提供动词变位表，不提供与单词对应的德文解释，不提供单词对应的英文化解释。不提供自然拼读法字母转写或者音标。请朋友们慎重选择购买。

If you are a non-native speaker of German who has reached a reasonable level of ability and you wish to study the language in more depth, this is the dictionary for you! 
It is extremely comprehensive, and has a sophisticated search system. Entries are well organised and can easily be copied and pasted for study purposes (unlike many dictionaries). Disappointingly, sound files are available for very few headwords (in contrast, Zanichelli have native speaker pronunciations of essentially every German word available in their German-Italian Italian-German dictionary entitled ‘il Tedesco’ in its latest version). Quibbles aside, highly recommended.

Ihr müsst da nochmal ordentlich nachbessern, die app ist ihr geld so nicht wert. Kostenlose Wörterbücher haben häufiger mehr Übersetzungen als dieses

### 1/5 — Langenscheidt keine Aktualisierung für teures Englisch PRO Wirtschaft Englisch Wörterbuch

Ich habe in vier Sprachen die Apps von Langenscheidt jeweils die teure PRO oder Expert Version gekauft. Darunter auch das  Englisch Wirtschaftslexikon PRO, das sich nach einem update vorMonaten nicht einmal mehr öffnen lässt, so dass es absolut wertlos geworden ist. Da ich in die App nicht mehr reinkomme, konnte ich auch nicht beim Entwickler anfragen, wie ich an meinen teuer bezahlten Inhalt komme. Ich meinerseits werde keine einzige kostenpflichtige App mehr kaufen und schon gar nicht die teuren Pro oder Expert Versionen, die rund 50EURO !! Kosten. Im App Store komme ich auch nicht mehr auf die App auf neuen Geräten wird diese nicht mehr angezeigt.

Ich stoße bei der Suche immer häufiger auf Fehler (= fehlende Übersetzungen). Das bedeutet für mich, das Wörterbuch veraltet immer auffälliger. Ich werde nun Ersatz suchen, der besser in die Zeit passt.

Warum gibt es so viele negative Bewertungen?

Ja, es gibt Worte, die hier nicht enthalten sind. Aber in 99,99 % der Fälle wird die gesuchte Vokabel auch gefunden. Muss man für diese Sonderfälle gleich 3 oder gar 4 Sterne abziehen? 

Die App läuft einwandfrei auf aktueller Hardware und neustem iOS. Auch die Update-Zyklen zeugen von einer angemessenen Programmpflege. Technisch gibt es somit auch keinen Grund zur Kritik.

5 Sterne hat sich die App in meinen Augen redlich verdient.
