## What is German Slate Museum English?

The app of the German Slate Museum Ludwigsstadt is dedicated to the rock of the year 2019. Travel back to the working and living times of slate diggers and slate makers with this digital companion!

The tour of the German Slate Museum takes you into the world underground. Along for the ride are slate workers who painstakingly extract the natural product slate from the ground, but also the slate cleavers who split millimetre-thin slates from thick slate slabs. In the end, they turn them into individual works of art such as roof slates, slate boards, pens or entire houses... and in the museum you can just touch it all if you want!

You can choose a tour in the app and explore all levels of the museum with the help of the multimedia material. In addition, the digital application provides information about your visit to the German Slate Museum Ludwigsstadt.
