I tested one so I could set it up for my daughters easily and it won't connect to the app. I've tried multiple times and installed and deleted and RE installed the app....but nothing. This is frustrating. Haven't tried the other two bracelets yet and am hoping that it will be easy to get a replacement for any that don't work (because I love the idea of the product). ### 1/5 — DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY *2024-02-03* This half the time does not work it doesn’t do safety when it’s not working you have to check it but you shouldn’t have to do this is had more issues. It’s a Friday night and yet it’s not connecting. You shouldn’t have to check it every time you go out going on three weeks off and doesn’t connect to Safari so you don’t get the fake phone call or let your crew know so I have an Invisawear also best one you might not get the fake phone call but at least if you’re in trouble it’ll connect to your people. not only that I was in law-enforcement so you can pay the $19.99 a month and ADT will call you. It will video if you’re getting in trouble if somebody’s following you give us officers more of a description of your incident unlike this not working can’t get a fake phone call. Can’t let your crew know. It is free if you do not want ADT to be a connection for you. I never paid it because I had the flyer to make the fake phone call to scare them away but yet what does that do? ### 1/5 — Do not buy this bracelet *2024-01-11* Save your money. It’s extremely shady there’s only positive reviews on the website. All the negative reviews here should tell you this company is a scam. My bracelet and app don’t work. Sending back for a refund. It also apparently only last a year and you can’t charge it. ### 5/5 — Security Flare *2023-08-11* I recently bought 2 flare bracelets. It’s easy to set up the bracelet with the app. The app walks you through each step. Once you’ve completed the set up process the app wants to perform a test run. It will notify your crew whomever you designated to receive notifications in the event of an emergency. You have the opportunity to decide what the notification will be. Example: I’m caught in a tough spot. I believe you only have a one line message to send your crew. You can also notify 911. This is a helpful and beneficial feature. What I thoroughly enjoy about the bracelet is it’s comfortable and that it doesn’t look like it would for security. From what I understand there’s different styles of bracelets. I highly recommend this bracelet and the app. for any young or elderly person. C ### 1/5 — Trash *2023-06-09* Absolute garbage. Literally just got the bracelet in the mail today and it doesn’t work. It looks like it’s already been used because it’s scratched up too. Even though it’s broken straight out of the package, you don’t get your shipping refunded AND you have to pay to have it shipped back. Great first impression. What a scam. ### 1/5 — Does Not Work. Save your money. ### 1/5 — Customer Torture ! *2022-07-06* I have owned this product for at least 4 months. It’s Defective and neither I or one of the Flare employees was able to get it working. I was told to wait while the engineers looked to see if it was part of a Defective Batch.. I was told that it had been reset, but you guessed it.. Nothing !! The employee who contacted me, No Longer Responds to email or voicemail and the General number for the company is constantly Busy !! I’m Totally Beside Myself.. I Don’t Know What Else to Do !! So here I sit with a product that Still Does Not Work and Never Has .. I have asked for a replacement but again.. Nothing.. Customer Torture .. ### 1/5 — App is trash, customer service is worse *2022-06-22* Don’t even bother with Flare. The jewelry itself looks cheap, the app never synced with the device, and customer service gives you the runaround instead of helping solve any problems. ### 2/5 — Got a replacement and still won’t work *2022-06-04* When I first ordered the setup was super easy and it worked every time I did the fake phone call, but after a month it took a few tries to get the fake phone call. Then it eventually stopped working completely. After 2 weeks of going back and forth with customer service through email I got a replacement and it connected to the app but won’t send out the texts to my “crew” or send me a phone call. I’ve uninstalled the app 3 times and tested out all their phone numbers but still nothing. ### 3/5 — Mixed Feelings *2022-05-24* I ordered one which works great. I liked it so much I ordered another one in a different style so I could change the bracelet depending on the occasion. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the second one to work so they sent a replacement. That one didn’t work either so I returned it for a refund. The refund was promptly processed which is great. If you have a problem u have to fill out a form and you get a stock email reply. There really isn’t a live customer service call center. I did finally come across a telephone # which I called and left a message but no call back.
