You're standing in a restaurant. You don't need another 4.1-star average or twenty photos of the dining room. You need the one thing to order. That's Get Gets. Every restaurant gets a single, definitive call. "Get the double-double, animal style." Written by a real person who was actually there, with one photo of the dish. No essays. No star ratings. Just the move. SOMEBODY IS ABOUT TO ORDER WRONG You've eaten somewhere they haven't. That makes you the expert, and there are three ways to say so. - Call the get. The first person to nail a spot owns the verdict for it. Snap the dish, name it, and the headline is yours. - Add an Also Get. Somebody already called the headline? Add the other thing worth ordering there. - Co-sign. Agree with a call? Back it up. Co-signs are how the best dishes rise, voted by the people who actually ate them. Every one of those tells the next person what to order. FIND YOUR NEXT GREAT ORDER Open the map and see the spots around you, each with the one dish worth ordering. Tap a get for the full photo, who called it, and a map with directions straight to the door. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT - One verdict per place. You have to be there to post, so every call is the real deal. - No star ratings, because a number never told anyone what to eat. EARN YOUR STANDING Co-signs, badges and city rank all climb as you call more spots. See who's leading the busiest regions and cities on the Who's #1 board, and watch your Get Jar fill with a fork for every get you've called, a knife for every co-sign you've given, and a medal for every badge you've earned. Collect the Get Gets cards while you're at it. Get Gets is the insider tip your most food-obsessed friend would give you, for every restaurant, everywhere. Somebody near you is staring at a menu right now. Tell them what to get. ## Version history (last 4 releases) ### 1.3 — 2026-08-18 SEARCH FOR A PLACE The search button on the feed now finds restaurants as well as people. Type a name, tap it, and go straight to the one dish worth ordering there. If nobody has called that spot yet, you can be the first. WHO'S #1 NOW HAS REGIONS The leaderboard opens on a regional board, so there's a real race to be in, and the city board is one tap away. Leaderboards now count every restaurant properly, so some ranks have moved. FIX A GET YOU GOT WRONG You could always correct a typo or swap a photo within an hour of posting. Now the app tells you so, and there's a pencil on your own gets wherever they appear. SIX NEW CARDS The Get Gets card deck is now eight cards. Tilt your phone and the food lifts off the card. DARK BY DEFAULT Get Gets now opens in night mode, which is how it was designed to look. Tap the sun in the top bar if you prefer daylight. Plus wording fixes, so an "Also Get" is called an "Also Get" everywhere in the app. ### 1.2 — 2026-08-16 - Profile pictures. Add a photo to your profile from your camera or your library. No more letter in a circle. - See the whole photo. Tap any get's picture to open it full screen. Pinch to zoom, flick down to close. Works on Also Get photos too. - Get directions. Every get now has a map on its page. Tap it and Maps opens with directions to the spot. - Two co-sign counts. Your profile now tracks the co-signs you've GIVEN and the co-signs you've RECEIVED as separate numbers, so you can see how your calls are landing, not just how much you've backed up other people. - Who's #1. A new board showing the busiest cities in Get Gets and who's leading each one. See where you stand, and exactly how many points would take a crown. - Get Gets Cards. Your own collectible promo cards, right in the app. Swipe through the deck, tap to flip one over, tilt your phone to catch the shine, and share a card with anyone. - A better jar. Your Get Jar now fits everything no matter how much you've collected, and nothing can spill out. - Your music keeps playing.
