Verifying the phone number worked just fine, when verifying the email I kept getting a 401 error. Luckily, I could skip the email verification. But in order to share any information I have to pay for the subscription, that’s currently $1.99 per year. The nice thing is that they give you a 6 month free trial, I guess that would work in a pinch. But if you have your ID on you to sign up, you could just use the ID. The developer’s other mobile ID app doesn’t appear to have a subscription. And other states that have their own mobile ID apps don’t appear to have subscription costs either. This makes it seem like the subscription is coming from Utah. ### 3/5 — Has to be set up all over again *2026-06-25, version 5.5.5* I have had this app since the beginning. And since the beginning on a random basis, you have to start all over again from zero to set this up. So that means you have to find your drivers license and start over. There is no way to login; there’s no way to restore. If you have to set this thing up new several times a year, why do I even use it? Why don’t I just carry my drivers license? It seems to defeat the whole purpose of this thing. Yesterday, I was pulling up my ID for information, but now I have no access to it. I’m brought to a Sign Up screen and I can’t even Sign up or otherwise login (Doesn’t recognize my phone number). Most people wouldn’t trust the app because it looks NOTHING like a drivers license but I knew the police and airport did so I was ok with that and helped others know what to expect. Today I opened the app and WOW, where is my driver license info!?!?!?! It’s gone. I had to set it up again but with a WHOLE LOT MORE information required AND my physical license which I don’t have. What if I had been on a trip using this ID to fly? What if I was pulled over? I’d be stuck. After the update, I had to create a new account rather than just being able to be logged in as normal. But the app won’t accept my facial scan, so basically the app is pointless for me. However they were able to get me to scan my face multiple times so I guess they can amass people’s PII in the process. I’m begging you! *2026-06-12, version 5.5.5* I really, really LOVE this APP! I just WISH there was One Available for the State of Alabama. Is there any chance your team could work on 1 for Alabama cause every other State in the U.S. has one besides Sweet Home Alabama. lol I downloaded the UTAH Mobile ID App in hopes that I could somehow load my Driver License onto it along with my Car Insurance, Registration, & any other much needed items to have on the ready.
