We had an issue at 9,000 reps. We called customer service and they sent out a new ball quickly. The customer service rep went above and beyond. My son’s team is having a competition and the rep suggested we keep track of our reps with a regular ball and text him our daily number so he could update the app and my son wouldn’t get behind! I really wanted it to work, but it doesn’t. However, the update process is a bit cumbersome, but here’s how I completed it (YMMV). 1) Charge to 100% 2) Take ball off the charger and start the update process 3) When it fails simply hit the “Update Firmware” again and repeat until it updates. The app is terrible. If you want the activity feed to update: delete and reinstall the app. Accept a friend request? Delete the app and reinstall. See you workout summary update?... you guessed it delete and reinstall. Oh and don't bother trying on an iPad the app crashes immediately.
