Highly recommend. ### 2/5 — Ok app *2025-08-09, version 13.4.1* The app and website navigates totally differently, and the worst of it is they monitor your messages to make sure your not sharing contact info which a lot of customers complained about since they may have questions as to specs of boat, locations and times but they have to commit to booking before you can actually get in contact with them outside of the app. It does have a significantly smaller fee then Boatsetter but that’s because it’s no insurance or anything covering you ,your totally on your own if anything happens unlike Boatsetter which has buoy insurance for each trip! ### 5/5 — Good booking company! The renter and the owner cannot communicate until after payment has been made. The company keeps the owner and the captain's money for a few days. Customer service varies from helpful to very unhelpful, depending on who happens to answer. And finally, they take a lot of money from each side. I have not yet seen or heard a dissatisfied customer on my boat, they all loved how easy it was to contact me through getmyboat.com. I love it because if I ever have a problem, they are very responsive and helpful. the app is very easy to use and message the clients. If I’m on for example the 5th page hit a listing to check it out and want to go back to the listings it takes me to the first page always ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-06-09, version 13.8.1* I uploaded a photo of my company’s logo as opposed to my face, and apparently that had offended their security measure of some kind and then I got generic. We can’t help you email responses from the support team. 0 out of 100 try any other app other than this massive waste of time! ### 1/5 — Absolutely useless app. *2026-06-07, version 13.8.1* If I could give this app 0 stars, I would. I had just made an account, and within 5 seconds, it was banned. I emailed support and they were utterly useless, just like their app. Telling me that apparently my account was flagged for "suspicious activity" even though I hadn't used my account for anything yet. When I emailed support, Miguel's response was an absolute joke. Telling me that no action could or would be taken through Getmyboat. Avoid this app at all costs, it's useless. The concept is great but unfortunately, the execution is egregious. If you make an account with Getmyboat, you should expect nothing less than having it banned within mere seconds of making it. Will not be using this app again, or recommending it to anyone. ### 1/5 — Backwards app *2025-08-13, version 13.4.1* This app is not worth using as a boat owner OR customer. There are better apps and sites out there. This is way too high. And the app provide nothing with the extra service fee. ### 1/5 — My booking was cancelled the day of the trip no way to leave a review *2025-06-22, version 13.2.0* Not sure if this happens a lot but I booked a boat over a month ahead of time the booking was set and paid for the. A few days prior troubles started and we were receiving push back on time and captain selection final the morning off they just texted us that the boat broke down and we need to search for another boat. It was Father’s Day and a birthday and it looked like they had others offering more. Needless to say we didn’t get any support from the company or any way of leaving feedback about what has occurred. I would not trust this app ever again. ### 1/5 — Don’t trust this one *2025-04-15, version 13.1.0* I tried this app out. Did research. Found a boat with a lot of good reviews. Had family in town and went to meet up and get the boat. The owner no shows. Listed a phone number that was to a local boat company that’s closed on the weekend, this is Sunday. Had no way to reach anyone but app support and they had the same bad phone number. I never heard back from anyone. The app refunded my $ but I never got an explanation from the owner or any response at all. On top of everything- embarrassing moment with fam, buying stuff for the outing, time wasted - I didn’t even get to leave a nice review because I technically didn’t rent a boat. So no way to warn others. ### 1/5 — HIDDEN SERVICE FEES!! UNAFFORDABLE OPTIONS *2024-09-14, version 12.1.0* I checked the same boat rentals on other platforms and they are alot much cheaper. This app takes service fees which is stated in their “fine print” when booking, but not clearly stated as non-refundable. All bookings are actually NOT FULLY REFUNDED to you and a huge portion of your money is deducted by the platform. I am assuming that’s how they make their money but for an app that claims to have “risk-free” bookings, make sure you are 100% sure before confirming your booking and ensure that you have communicated everything beforehand if you do not wish to be at loss. Worst customer service as well!! I definitely would not recommend this app or platform ### 1/5 — Logistical issues *2024-09-04, version 12.0.1* I recently had my booking cancelled 2 days prior to my rental that I made 2 months in advance with no help on re-booking through the company. I had confirmed on the app and paid in full. Apparently it was a “logistics” issue with the app letting multiple customers book for the same day. When the app sees that you're starting to receive client requests, they interfere with your listing and change the price and features so you don't get any more requests, and the requests go to whoever they want. If you're new, you'll never get a single request; one person has everything monopolized.
