### 3/5 — Pass is great, app is terrible

*2026-05-25, version 4.0.0*

Love the pass and it is an incredible value if you like to get out a lot with your kids! However, they changed the app recently and it’s terrible and not intuitive to use. Bring back just the simple list, please!!

### 5/5 — A Year of Family Fun at Your Fingertips

*2026-05-09*

GetOut has made planning family activities easier than ever. The rebrand brings together the best of both worlds, offering more app features than Pogo Pass or GetOutPass ever did on their own. The map function makes it simple to find activities nearby, the detailed venue info helps you plan ahead, and the calendar keeps everything organized in one place. If you’re looking for a full year of family memories without the hassle, this is it.

### 5/5 — Upgraded Experience

*2026-05-08*

Really like the new app! It’s easy to navigate and with the merge of the two companies we’ve unlocked so many new attractions! I appreciate how their team was responsive to feedback and have continued to make adjustments to the app that only make it more user friendly!

### 5/5 — Honest review

*2026-05-08, version 4.0.0*

I’ve had a good experience with the app and our membership. Great variety of attractions and the app is easy to use and redeem offers.

### 5/5 — So much fun!

*2026-05-08*

Our family has had such a blast discovering places we typically wouldn’t have gone to without our pass. The app is easy to use. Some venues require a sock purchase but the app made it clear so I knew what to expect.

### 5/5 — Best Value Ever!

*2026-05-05, version 4.0.0*

We’ve been buying the GetOut membership for years! You use it 2-3 times and it pays for itself. Our family has made countless family memories all thanks to GetOut!

### 2/5 — We Miss Pogo Pass

*2026-05-02, version 4.0.0*

Tried to use the Get Out app yesterday and the barcode wouldn’t work. The museum we visited told us that was the third time that day. Grateful they still let us in. We have no plans to auto-renew at this point.

### 1/5 — POGO was great, this ruined it.

*2026-03-21, version 4.0.0*

I’ve had the pogo pass, and that app is easy to use and shows you all the passes you have available. I was forced to switch to this app and now certain activities that were on our pogo pass that I paid for, are no longer there, or now only certain locations are available. For example with D-Bat, on our pogo app, the Lee’s summit location (where we live) is no longer available and the only option is the D-Bat in Lenexa. Why are activities/locations that were available before I purchased, and after purchasing, being taken away now that we are forced to use this app? You can not take things away after someone has purchased them. The pogo pass was an amazing deal but now I feel very taken advantage of, and it is now clear that you all do not care about actually providing any fun family experiences, all you care about is the money. Otherwise this app would be easier to use, clearly state which activities are/aren’t available, and it wouldn’t TAKE AWAY activities/locations. On the get out pass website FAQ regarding the pogo pass merger it says “ Your current membership will transfer to the new GetOut brand and continue to work just as it does today.
Same attractions
Same membership term
Same visit and redemption history
All current benefits retained”. If all of my current benefits are supposed to be retained, then why are you are taking away activities/locations that were available to pogo pass members before the merge? The website also says “Important to know: You will continue to have access to the attractions included in your current pass for the remainder of your membership term. When your membership eventually renews, it will renew into the GetOut plan available in your market at that time. You’ll always see your options clearly before renewal and remain in full control of your membership, and your current attractions remain available.” The renewal terms are also unclear, one spot on the website says “When your membership eventually renews, it will renew into the new GetOut plan available in your market at that time.” But under the FAQ titled “What if my membership is due to renew around the same time as the GetOut update?” it states that renewals on or before March 31st, 2026 will renew into the same legacy plan your membership originated from. But renewals on or after April 1st, 2026 renew into the GetOut plan available in your market at that time. So depending on when your membership is due to renew, the activities available will be different? This contradicting unclear information makes this even more frustrating, and more of a hassle than it seems to be worth. Since my membership needs renewal March 31st, I now have no idea what activities will or won’t be available, as activities/locations that were available to me right before I was forced to switch to this app, are now gone. Definitely not worth it anymore, extremely disappointed.

### 4/5 — Excellent App

*2026-03-21*

The app is excellent to use, easy navigation and identifying the available location. Please enable the location link so that it opens the maps app or allow the address to be copied. Right now we need to manually search the location.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-03-19, version 4.0.0*

I hate the fact that the app now requires me to provide my location information to the app to use. The app will not let me type a destination and show what activities are available in the area I requested. I greatly preferred the POGO app where it would tell me what activities were available in my area without knowing my exact location at all times. This is a massive privacy downgrade.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not good

*2026-06-22, version 4.0.1*

Not a good app keeps taking activities away after takeover from Pogo Pass

### 1/5 — Scammy

*2026-06-13, version 4.0.1*

They force you to add a credit card then automatically enable auto renew, even if you have a gift membership.

### 1/5 — Waste of time and money

*2026-06-09, version 4.0.0*

The buying process is an ease but once they have your money, good luck getting access to any of the deals on the pass. The app is incredibly buggy and their customer support is basically non existent. Not to mention the auto bill making this a subscription is on by default. DO NOT BUY IT!

### 1/5 — Terrible app will not use again

*2026-05-13, version 4.0.0*

Rebrand made everything worse. 95% of what’s available is trash. Very hard to actually use the things you want, when you want. For the price it is now, it is no longer worth it.

### 1/5 — Activities removed

*2026-04-18, version 4.0.0*

I purchased a pogo pass a month prior to the merge without any notice, unfortunately after the merge I noticed activities that were there previously had been removed like the San Antonio Aquarium. I see new activities but nothing worthwhile. It was a complete waste of money.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-04-15, version 4.0.0*

The app is horrible

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2026-04-07, version 4.0.0*

I don’t know why pogo pass moved to this app but it’s terrible. I can’t see to redeem the passes and this is the second time it happened. Super annoyed!

### 1/5 — Horrible. Awful rebrand.

*2026-04-02*

The rebrand sounds good because you get more attractions. You don’t get anything worth while though. Drove 3.5 hours and we aren’t able to use one of them in the area, can’t find any info on another one to be able to use it and the staff are just as lost as us. Then also blindly taking off attractions… the one them was the reason we actually bought the passes. Won’t be doing this again. Really disappointed. I bought the pogo pass. Give me back what I paid for 😔

### 1/5 — App is down

*2026-03-28, version 4.0.0*

The app seems to be down today. When I open it, it opens for about 5 seconds, then closes. Tried deleting and redownloading, but the same thing happens.

### 1/5 — Faulty App

*2026-03-27, version 4.0.0*

Just activated our passes and the app keeps crashing. How do we use our passes if we can’t access the app? I’ve tried updating and deleting and reinstalling it. It is so frustrating. And this is after days of emailing with customer service just to fix issues with getting our passes activated. Not impressed at all so far.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Seamless ticketing and redemptions

*2026-07-10*

We’ve had our memberships for a few years now and we are LOVING this new app and how user-friendly it is! It’s very clear what the offers are, how to redeem them, and I LOVE the map feature that shows us all the attractions and where they are located if we want to go to several places the same day. Our Houston passes are really fun and we use them all the time!

### 5/5 — So fun!

*2026-07-08, version 4.0.1*

We seriously love get out so much! It’s an amazing way to save money but still have fun with our family. Thanks Get Out!

### 5/5 — Definitely one of our favorite purchases this year!

*2026-06-12*

As a mom, I love finding ways to save money while still making memories with my kids. We’ve already used our GetOut pass at the San Antonio Zoo and have several more outings planned. It has easily paid for itself and has helped us try new places all over the city.

### 5/5 — It brings family fun to a new level!

*2026-05-26*

I’m a big fan of the GetOut pass as it’s allowed me to go to so many fun and entertaining places. I hadn’t heard of or been to many of these attractions until I saw them on GetOut. I’d highly recommend to anybody who wants to have fun family memories for less money to buy the GetOut pass.

### 5/5 — GOAT

*2026-05-20, version 4.0.0*

Greatest pass ever! It gives you so many good ideas of things to do and great any time of year!

### 5/5 — Best Family Entertainment

*2026-05-19*

Our family has been members of Pogo Pass since 2018! Now that both brands have come together the pass is better than ever before!! SO many attractions to choose from, not to mention the incredible value.
10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

### 5/5 — AFFORDABLE AND EASY TO USE!

*2026-05-15*

Thank you GetOut! Our family LOVES using our passes to explore in AZ and we are looking at buying some in another location for our next family vacation! I can't believe how many places we can enjoy and I love that the app tracks where we have been and what we have left to use! So convenient for this busy mom...Thank you!
