I had been trying to delete and edit when my Ipad needed charging but once this had been done I found that the editing worked well. And so I now love this app. Hopefully I will never again get where i'm gong and find I haven't got what I need. ### 4/5 — Great App but slightly confusing to start with *2012-08-18, version 4.0* This is a great App and I have just completed my first holiday listing for a 2 week cruise so there are lots of different items needed. The program worked very well and handled everything very well. The reason for not giving 5 stars is like a previous reviewer I did find it confusing to start with and I also cannot find a way to delete things. Liked the design and the items listed all seem good, but that's all irrelevant if I can't actually use it!! Sadly, it has now been abandoned by the developer, so really annoying bugs like the category titles getting stuck in the middle of the screen got on my nerves enough that I have given up. I have just tried 6 other apps and none do the job for a family quite as well, so it’s disappointing, but I guess I can’t really expect them to keep up maintenance forever. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t scroll well *2018-08-21, version 7.0.4* This app would make packing easy if it would scroll when I run my finger over it. However it doesn’t. It’s a bug that could be sorted. Good product.....get it working. ### 2/5 — Don't get it *2012-07-26, version 4.0* This app has such great reviews i bought it. But it's confusing. First, there's no sync between iPad and iPhone. Second i can't find a way to delete packing lists. I experimented and accidentally have loads of packing lists now. Need to delete them, but how? Third, on the iPad i couldn't find any way of changing the descriptions of packing lists- it seems to auto name them according to the place and dates which is fine, but you might want to customise the name. I am sure it can be helpful so i have given two stars, but these are flaws which make it non user friendly and i found this out just in the first moments for trying it out. They should offer a one day free trial. It's a rip off and the bad grammar in the pop up instructions is not confidence inspiring. ### 2/5 — Nog sterk aan verbetering toe *2011-06-13, version 3.0.0* Functioneel zit het goed in mekaar maar de app is zeer onstabiel (schakelt zichzelf regelmatig uit) en mijn inziens onvoldoende getest. Als ik vb pakkist aanvul met bijkomend item voor specifieke reisgezel moet ik eerst de app reboaten alvorens nieuw item werkelijk op zijn naam verschijnt. Really useful and customisable. I really liked the auto generated of things to remember. Easily worth the paltry pittance that they are charging. ### 5/5 — Very difficult to find fault *2017-05-01, version 7.0.1* I have used this app for several years for different kinds of trips and find it indispensable. Once you get the hang of it and adapt it for your language (it doesn't use English English, it uses American English but that's fine once you have changed the meanings once - from pants to trousers for instance - you can use previous lists as a start for future lists) and it saves them all in iCloud so I still have all my lists. Just make sure you don't tick something off before it is definitely in the bag! No socks in Italy last year! Going to look at the photo app by the same developer. ### 5/5 — Very nice *2014-04-14* I’ve looked at (and paid $ for) a bunch of these packing apps. This one is the best one I’ve run across. Ease of use, sophistication, and beautiful interface. The problems with most of the others has been bugs and quirkiness. We’ll see if GetPacked is more robust. Excellent range of built in items and clever enough to know what you are likely to need. The ability to add those peculiarly personal items, as well as being able to customise the To Do list means it is flexible enough to cope with any eventuality.
