Family of 4 returning from Italy and thanks to EasyJet had taken over 14hrs. Great service from our reliable black cabbies. No human contact only bots who don’t allow you to type in your query so you have to choose from the basic menu of options which address nothing. I left something in a cab once and there is no one to talk to. Then it couldn’t find a driver, so I then had to book from a different firm. When it can’t find one for your time and you cancel it charges you a fiver. They will tell you in an email that they have charged you a fiver due to their cancellation policy and when you click the cancellation policy hyperlink in the email it doesn’t work. Handy. First and last time user or such a greedy app. ### 1/5 — Horrible Service- Scam Service *2026-07-27, version 10.48.2* Reserved and pre-paid for a car to surprise my mom for her 70th birthday celebration and meet and greet at the airport. My mom also had a hip replacement a year ago so she can’t walk a lot. Upon arriving to the arrivals, the driver called to say he was at terminal 5 but we were at terminal 3, this was also noted on my booking. It took him another 10 minutes to get where we were located and he asked if we could find him. He didn’t meet us at arrivals to assist with our luggage and no signage at all. I called him again since another 10 minutes went by and he said he was at terminal 3 floor 2 parking and if we can come to him. Eventually we said yes because we wanted to leave the airport. After taking two elevators and walking around the parking garage, we found him. No meet and greet signage at all. I was so upset because I was looking forward to surprising my mom for her birthday with signage and easy access to a car to get to the hotel so she wouldn’t need to walk a lot but it was completely ruined. They offered coupons for a future ride which I won’t be using and £25 credit onto my bank account when I paid over £100 and extra for meet and greet and a tip for the driver. To me, it seems like a scam to lure people into using their taxi service by marketing a meet and greet but not providing the service. Please do your research before and go with a reputable company as I wish I did. ### 1/5 — Drivers always cancel *2026-07-10, version 10.48.1* I don’t know what’s been happening on Gett but drivers are always canceling. There needs to be a penalty on drivers for canceling so much. It’s almost unusable. You have to be ready 30 min before to ensure you get a Gett on time.
