## Most critical reviews (2 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not GettingOut or GTL. Check the developer

*2026-10-26*

This app is not the GettingOut app from GTL/ViaPath. It uses the "Getting Out" name, but the developer is an individual, "Alina Karatnyk," not Telmate, LLC, which publishes the real GettingOut app. It was released October 26, 2026.
If you're looking for GettingOut to message or video visit someone through GTL, this isn't it. Search "GettingOut" and make sure the developer says Telmate, LLC.
Before paying for anything here, ask yourself why it's using another company's name.

### 5/5 — Everybody’s out to make money

*2026-10-26*

Shouldn’t cost money to talk to your children who are locked up. How can you be supportive and be a good parent when you don’t always have the money to throw it some app so that you can communicate with your kid who definitely needs support. Why are we treating humans like animals in a zoo where you have to purchase snacks in order to engage with them and yes, I am speaking figuratively
