The first pic I attempted to post was for some reason “not approved” no clue why as it was well within community standards and in no way inappropriate whatsoever, when I proceeded to contact you guys I kept getting an error message and was not able to ask why approval was denied. Then to top it all off today I couldn’t even get into the app kept getting “JSON parse error” What an absolutely joke!! ### 2/5 — Good idea, no quality control *2018-12-28, version 1.2* I deleted this within a few minutes of downloading, there’s no quality control and I was bombarded with d*** pics as soon as I opened up a category. **Developer response:** We're sorry we did not meet your expectations. Our 2019 release is all new, more stable, and includes better image filters. We hope you will consider trying Unshuttered again some day. ### 1/5 — no way to block inappropriate content *2018-12-28, version 1.2* loved the app, layout, and how it allowed teenagers to express themselves... but this morning i opened the app to find a very inappropriate/nude photo. as far as i can tell, there is no way for me to get this photo off of my feed, report or block it, or unfollow this person. i deleted the app. **Developer response:** Navybear282, our 2019 release added blocking, unfollowing, and better image filters. We hope you will try Unshuttered again in the future. ### 2/5 — Weak execution with good intentions *2018-04-21, version 1.1* The idea of challenges is a good one. Problem is, why recreate Instagram. This should use a users existing IG photos submitted to this from that feed. In addition, you must create an account before finding out more information about this. There should be a more information given before having to sign up. The only upside is the ability to easily deactivate an account, which I did after 20 minutes after checking this out. **Developer response:** We love Instagram too. If its your jam connect with us @gettyunshuttered or #unshuttered. You'll find our photo tips right in our feed. ### 2/5 — Not authenticated *2018-04-18, version 1.1* Keep on getting the “not authenticated” notification on my phone. Can’t do anything even though I’ve logged in before and submitted photos. **Developer response:** We recommend hitting “OK” on the “Not Authenticated” popup, and trying to toggle open the menu, log out, then sign back in. If this doesn’t work you can reach us at unshuttered@getty.edu and we are happy to provide personal assistance for this and any other problems you may experience.
