The best part is that you can get a lot out of the app even off the battlefield, because unfortunately, you can't stay there forever. It was a lot of fun to use. Is there any chance of a part 2 to this app so other parts of the gettysburg battlefield can be covered and enjoyed like this one. GPS worked great. Love the content download feature. This app brought me and my family to sites we never would have found using the park map. There were things not even marked with signs like the actual Devil's Den. I hope the other Gettysburg battles are added in an update. Thanks for the personal tour guide. The GPS feature worked flawlessly and I had no problems. When we got to Gettysburg, we were so lost as to where to start because it's a real big town. This app started us at the two biggest battles and worked us from there. I got it because I love American History, especially the Civil War. This app provides so much detail that I found myself reading for almost an hour. The information is very interesting and not dry. And what's cool is how seamlessly all the information is woven together. (for example, on a battlefield map, click on a general and information about that general and his battles come up.) It would've been nice to have an app that showed where we were in the battlefield. It has more facts and stops than the driving tour at the visitors center and the map shows you exactly where you are on the battle field and how to her to any point you want. The rest of the battle - days 1 and 3 and everything to the north - is not included. As you drive, bike, walk around the Battlefield the app will use GPS to show you where you are in the Battlefield and important locations and events that happened there. You can have the app show you information by day of the battle and by the forces at Battle —for example, show the actions of Union forces on Day 2. Some of the people in my group did not have cellular signal at all places on the Battlefield and the app has the ability to download the maps in case you don’t have signal. I highly recommend the app when you visit Gettysburg —it adds a lot of information and makes the experience more educational and more informative. ### 5/5 — Truely fantastic App *2018-08-11, version 2.6* We were about to buy the audio tour from the gift shop when someone mentioned this app to me. Very simple to use. *2017-06-12, version 2.6* Our family used the GPS option of this app as we followed the park's Auto Tour signs. The Auto Tour map provided by the Visitors Center only has short paragraphs summarizing points. While this app is very informative, well organized, and full of historical photos to help visitors better understand the progression of the three days of the battle. ### 5/5 — So impressed!
